Thread: Help, can't tell if awake or asleep!

I keep having dreams where I can't tell if I'm awake or asleep. These normally occur after an event, a party for example or having a friend round. I will go to sleep as normal and then a few hours later think that the people from the party are in my bedroom or that the person who was round is STILL round. I believe that I sleep talk when this happens as I feel myself getting up and looking around for the people and trying to talk to them, only to find that they are not there. Am I awake or dreaming when this happens and what does this mean?
