Thread: Storms, confusion and Betrayal dream

Well first off im a 23 year old male. Im a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. I never deployed. I stayed stateside and guarded shipyards and nuclear submarines. I only been in for nearly two years and separated with an Honorable Discharge for a Service Connected injury. I have my own apartment, working at a rural supply store, working on finishing my degree in college. Anyways onto my dream. It first started off at night in a woods area. Me and my friends from my martial arts group were running a quickly and quietly as possible for a bit it was woods then came a clearing where the ground was covered in fallen leaves. We kept running hearing the crunch of leaves underneath our feet. We made to the otherside of the clearing back into more woods then came across wooden stairs which leaded up to a a boardwalk deal as if for recreational walking and jogging. . so we kept running and lord and behold we made it to a park of some sort. it kind of sort looked like the one down where I live. We made it down the boardwalk onto a fine dirt and gravel path. At this point in my dream I needed to use the bathroom and saw a porta john. I stepped in to urinate which took way longer than it should. I then heard somebody yelling at my friends that they neaded to leave in a urgent manner. at this point for some reason I was changing over into jeans. I dont know how I got them but it was there. I heard some more commotion going on and I opened the door. I noticed the sun was now out but the wind was starting to pickup a little. I looked around and saw dark cloud formation heading my way and FAST, blackening the sky in its wake. Also in the distance I saw hoarses i na pasture freaking out and running around. At this point I felt frightened and tried to get my shoes on as quick as possible, but I was frightened I couldnt do it.It then started raining hard and storming, I coulding see well, wind was whipping about so I just threw shoes away and ran barefoot heading for the boardwalk. I ran back up the stairs and sprinted across and noticed a rushing small river below it. RIght then I was scared out of my mind. I know the boardwalk wouldnt hold so I ran harder. However as neared the end I notced the exit of walk was submerged.I knew it would have been crazy to jump and tried to swim to shore which was only about 10 feet from me, but the raging and flooded creek ( from what it looked like) current was way to strong. I then decided run back but it was to late. the supports of the walk gave way. So then I started riding the large planks like a surfboard, doing what I can to keep balanced and just ride it out. From the feel of it I was swept down for about a half mile to a mile. I crahsed into a group of trees and bounced around it. I drifted towards the shore and chanced it and jumped.I landed tumbled but I made it and watched the planks I was on being ripped apart and swept away. RIght then I noticed the sun was out and I was soaking wet and tired and barefoot. I looked around and saw I was in the bakyards of a suburb. Knowing I can reach help and contact my friends from there I walked slugishly up to one of the back doors and knocked. I heard commotion going, a man coming down some stairs, and I heard another voice belonging to a female. It was taking way to long and I knocked again. I heard the man grumble but then the doorbell rang.Right then for some reason I was able to see through the door.. well more like astro projection and be in the same room. He answered and my Mom walked in with a big smile on her face at the man. I was shocked.. i knew something was going on but I didnt want to believe it. ( and yes my mom is having an affair wit someone) I felt being sucked right back into my body and ran around the otherside to see if I can find a different house to call from. But.. then I got fed up and ticked off and marched up to the front door and knocked, slight looking down at the ground with my hat covering my eyes. She opened the door very slightly and I looked up, and all she could say was *oh... hey* I gritted my teeth and about faced and walked away in a huff, forgetting that I almost died from a sudden flash flood. I was about to take her truck and then I noticed I was near butt naked and she came out to apparently talk but she turned her head raising her voice at the man at the door... and thats pretty much it. Sooooo what the HELL does all this mean?
