"Now you see me, now you don't" is a typical dream phenomenon when you look again things may change in a dream. However, your mind wished to rationalize it, so you decided it must have been a ghost and spooked yourself. Also by that time you had already been a bit spooked by being separated from your family in a strange large and complicated house. These kind of houses, especially old houses, are often said to have ghosts of a past prior to the current inhabitants, so your mind may have also conjured up a ghost because it went with this house's decor.
I think this dream may also have the meaning of the importance of family staying together, or if family get separated bad things start to happen.
The creepy messages follow along the lines of the ghost. However, I don't know if you noticed the humor in them: message one says that this is the end, but then nothing happens, so message two corrects it to say ok so maybe the end is not now, but soon. LOL Your mind was trying to in my opinion rationalize why nothing happened after that first categorical and immediate statement. Oh, and then the end does happen: the end of the dream, so I wouldn't worry too much about the creepy messages.
I think being separated from family in a weird house caused you to see a ghost, which then caused you to see a spooky message because you might expect that sort of thing after seeing a ghost, and then as I said your mind corrected the message in a funny rationalizing way. I think it's ok. Take a deep breath, and don't worry too much about this dream.
oh, and ideally try to keep family together which is a good idea, but don't worry if you get separated because unlike in dreams where being alone causes scary things to happen because of expectations, in real life, usually being separated from family just results in one missing them.
