My boyfriend never met my grandfather. He had a dream that he was a in the kitchen getting some soup and he heard a weird noise downstairs in the basement and he went to go check it out. He said it was dark and in front of him was a built shadow of a man. The hair was slick back and had a curl upfront in the forehead. That hairstyle was my grandfathers everyday hair. And my boyfriend says he didnt feel threatened by the shadow but he just felt prepared in case the unknown shadow did try something. The shadow started walking towards him they were just looking at each other for a while and kept looking at each other as he shadow approached him. The shadow then walk straight by him like he wasn't even there and walked through a wall. I just know its my grandfather that hair that my boyfriend explained to me its him... what does it mean?! My grandfather was my father he raised me since I was a baby I was his entire world and he was mine. What could it possibly mean they havent met?!??!?! Please let me know if you can figure it out im really confused.

I think it means that you knew your grandfather and your boyfriend knows you, and people's subconscious minds aren't 100% separate. I don't think you can draw any conclusions such as about your future with your boyfriend. Your grandfather appears as a shadow because that's sort of what your boyfriend's impression of him is, but it doesn't tell you a lot beyond that.
