Can anyone please help me with this?

Last night I had a dream about someone I know, I have been thinking about him lately and in the past weeks fantasized about him sexually hence why I probably had this dream. In the dream I remember that it was him and he was sat up and I kneeing on his lap facing him and we were bouncing, hugging and kissing, having it on basically. We were supposed to be meeting up to go swimming which we talked about weeks ago, I have given up and am trying to move on from him, I no longer have him as a friend on Facebook, I've deleted him for a second time and I don't even think he's realized yet.

Recently last week in fact I sent him a message saying do you still want to go as I just wanna no where I stand because I don't really know where I stand with him i'm not sure if our meeting up is dating and he replied saying Yeah with a smiley face and I replied saying ok then I guess I stand with yeah and then he said no I mean yeah as in I want to, he's a bit oblivious. He also sent a message days after saying when are you around/, I didn't answer those two previous messages and now I had that dream so does it mean I'll see him?

I don't know who brainwashed you with this, poor you. Dreams can't predict the future any more than you can yourself (well, aside from the fact they have access to memories that your consciousness doesn't). So there's nothing like a dream "reaching out into the future" to tell you what will happen. On a side note, watch out for New Age people in this forum trying to tell you otherwise.

It sounds like you are just fantasizing about him, that's all. I had dreams like that too.

I don't have much experience with dreams that tell the future so I can't really speak for those who claim to be precognitive dreamers but I believe dreams can show us a possible future event that can occur because of the environment, our past actions or emotions. For example, you have a dream that you passed the Test after studying so hard. Or you had a dream you married your best friend who apparently likes you and you never knew.It doesn't mean it will happen but it's still possible. So i agree partly with what missotanni said about bringing up memories that we weren't conscious about and what DreamVixen said as well about you fantasizing about him. But yeah, there's a difference with being brain washed and just being open minded. Although there are trolls or people around the internet spurring out nonsense, there are also sincere people who might have reasonable reason to believe in what they claim is possible. Discerning what is true can be hard at times though but there's nothing wrong with taking things with a grain of salt if there is sound reason.

I didn't mean to insult anyone, I just said there's a reason that precogs have their own subforum here: nobody ever proved their existence, and it seems unlikely that anyone ever will.
But back to the topic: Nobody can say that a dream about so-and-so means that so-and-so will happen in the future. Instead, a dream about so-and-so sometimes could mean that you suspect that it will happen. Get the difference?
If, for instance, you rolled a 20-sided die, you've got a good reason to suspect that you won't roll a 20. Same thing here, since it's pretty probable that you'll meet him again, your dreams just reflected that opinion. Nothing more to it.

The future is up to you. Really! The best person that can interpret your dreams is Yourself!
Next time you see him in real life, if you ever do, you look at his eyes, sometimes you can tell that a guy is interested in you if his pupils dilate wider than normal this means that he could be excited about you. On the other hand, if his pupils are small, that could mean that he doesn't see you in that way and it could be mean it is time to move on. If he is not messaging you in a quick response then it may mean that he is busy or that he is not interested in you in that way. A word of advice, don't swamp him with messages, this will only scare him off. Though, I take it that it could be time to move on with the guy. This also could mean that this door is closing, another door is opening in the future. Good Luck!

^.^ Its okay Miso. They do have their own sub forum but the members of dreamviews count for a tiny part of the population so if it was a uncommon occurrence it wouldn't be fair to dismiss it for the lack of proof on the sub forum. If thats not what you meant by "there's a reason precogs have their own sub forum" sorry. I guess I misunderstood.

But its true that I have yet to read of precognitive dreaming being proven in a scientific study. Again...That's a reason why I can't really speak for the precognitive dreamers or people who claim to be one. I know there have been members who say they have had precognitive dreams and they describe their experience but thats about it.

Also, I understand the difference and its reasonable to infer that the OP's dream is not precognitive but the statement "Nobody can say that a dream about so-and-so means that so-and-so will happen in the future" can be argued. It would probably mean straying further away from the topic of the OP(Her relationship) and taking into consideration the possibility of a God existing or the validity of precognitive dreams from the past. Which I don't really want to do because it means I have to do more research about the topic but it would be interesting to see a friendly discussion/debate about it in another thread. Its not really my cup of tea though so I guess I'd prefer just to read what others have to say about precognitive dreams.

In the end though I wouldn't mind a world without precognitive dreams or even a world where precognitive dreams existed for only a moment because like DreamVixen said the future is pretty much up to us despite the hurdles we may face and its good to know we have free will without it being taken away by some kind of fate.

I think your dream might mean your not really over this guy, sometimes some people will give me a feeling like i'm not really finished with them , like we have unfinished buisness, and usually it helps to sort everything out before moving on.
