Dream about a fan of mine being in love with me

I went to a restaurant in my dream, and it was Christmas. I had been receiving free gifts from some fan of mine who loves my novels. When I was in the restaurant, she gave me an expensive hat, gloves and a scarf. And later on she gave me other gifts. I asked her why she keeps giving me gifts, and she told me that she’s so excited and hyped to read my novel, like she was hyped for Cyberpunk 2077. I was wondering how she found out that I’m writing a novel, because I hadn’t published it yet, and I remained anonymous with a pseudonym. This girl who is a fan was so obsessed with me that she had pictures of me on the counter when I went to the checkout in the restaurant. When I saw my pictures, I asked her, “Uhm, do I know you?” She told me that she’s an admirer and a fan who is in love with me, and that she likes a female character from the novel that I’m writing IRL. She told me she related to that female; the way she’s written and that she’s in love with me and the main character who is similar to me. I went outside while it was twilight, and it was snowing, and I heard the song: ‘Let it snow’. I didn’t mind that this fan of mine is in love with me. She was average in attractiveness and a bit older than me. I wasn’t attracted to her, but I respected her and the fact that she liked my works. I somehow felt bad and felt like I was using her by accepting the gifts. I let her know that I have no feelings for her, and she was perfectly fine with that. What’s your interpretation of this dream?

Like with all dream interpretation it really depends on you and the interpretation is generally more reliable when coming from yourself or someone extremely knowledgeable about you for that reason. From my personal point of view, not knowing you at all, I could make a succinct interpretation here that you may be either under-rewarding or over-rewarding yourself in real life, but likewise it could be about an opposite situation such as not being rewarded enough by others for something you may deserve credit or recognition for, especially since the dream seems to circle a little bit around you doing some novel-writing that you are keeping to yourself right now, but again, it could be relating to another part of your life too.
