Thread: Romantic dream

Wow, sounds interesting! I'd like to have a dream like that. (I'm very shy as well.)

it's weird sometimes I'm not as shy in dreams as I am in real life, gets me worrying if I'll ever beable to use lucid dreaming to overcome my shyness.

My interpretation: You go to an all boys school so you don't have access to many girls, hence no skills at talking to them. Occasionally you get lonely and need to fantasize about one, but you weren't able to do that for one reason or another (finals, stress...) and you needed to in your dream.

Either that or the night before you had seen a romantic movie or television show and longed for that kind of closeness. When you mentioned a house on a hill that made me think of Noah's house from The Notebook (I'm not sure why.)

That's just one idea, I often have romantic dreams too and I'm pretty good at talking to women, so it's not just shy people.

well my house just happens to be on a hill...

and yeah there is kind of this society after school i started going to for people wanting to do medicine at university...anyway there is a pretty girl there with brown hair but i didn't think much of her the first time. after 2 or 3 weeks, i definitely noticed her but didn't talk to her and now the society thing has ended

I'm in pretty much the same situation as you (school etc). Sucks, don't it?

I did go to a mixed for a couple of years though. I'm generally shy but girls can get me talking if they initiate a conversation.

I've never had sexual dreams, but I've certainly had hugging and things before. Those dreams give you a really great mood when you wake up, that's for sure.

I had a recent dream like this, this girl seemed ideal for me but her face seems blurred when i think back now, its a shame because i really liked her in my dream, i really want to revisit this dream out of curiousity of what she looks like.
