      Scary mirrors

I used to have problems with DC's being evil and now they have stopped. Now I have been having problems with a task- I looked into a mirror and I see an angry evil version of me with red glowing eyes. In fact every time I look into a mirror I see something scary- last time I told it that it wasn't real and it seemed confused. I know that this has something to do with me and how I see myself, I want to literally change the way I see my self in the mirrors. Am I truly evil and mean or is it fear based? Why is there so much evilness in my dreams-especially the mirrors?

I know what you mean, mirrors are wierd. I also have had the same experience,
Spoiler for See excerpt from my DJ:
and I have heard that many others here at DV share the same experience. I don't know why but I am sure that you can control this and get mirrors to reflect a more correct image of how you look.

It is interessting though on a psychological level, I wonder how much it has to do with how we perceive ourself.

I don't believe it says you're evil. In fact I believe we all have the capacity to do anything, and that itself can be scary. In dreams our ego defenses are down and we experience ourselves behaving in ways we wouldn't think of in real life. Hence, I suspect that you're mirror image is a reflection of parts of you that you suppress (for good reason) in real life. Jung called this our "shadow self".

The statements given on the page were common interpretations on dreams with a key focus on mirrors.

I do not know how to professionally interpret dreams, and so I get them from this website. I don't know what they're basing they're own interpretations or dream dictionary on, all I know is that they're generally the same as any other interpretations I find online and they've always been accurate for me.

Many of the interpretations are taken from other websites, like Burned Up's link was also present on the page of my original link.

If you want to know how they do what they do and what they base it off of, you'd have to somehow contact them.

OK, whatever works for you is cool. I just personal feel that these kind of interpretations seem quite out of the blue, but then again I don't know what they are based on.

I just have a hard time accepting general statements that serve as interpretations for dreams, I think it's more personal.

...With the risk of jacking this thread I'll shut up about this. sorry

Sorry if I seemed to imply that, I can't always express exactly what I mean in english.
