      Sasquatch in my dreams

This is a reoccurring theme in my dreams since I was about 9 years old.

There are always sasquatch in my dreams... Not as inter-actors...just as watchers.
      Sometimes interaction or violence.
Friggin weird, but maybe its like someone else having a poodle in their dreams.

      Any ideas?

Whoa...that is odd. No clue, maybe a supernatural force is watching you. Try to become lucid and reach out to him, perhaps he's a type of spirit guide.

If it's a recurring theme, you could probably be a little more specific.

The personalities of the sasquatch are not static. They depend on the particular one.
For example I am walking down a hallway at a club. There is a sasquatch standing in the hallway. Everyone else ignores it.

Im in the woods hiking, there is a sasquatch standing on a cliff overlooking the river I am hiking up.

When I made a conscious decision to ignore them for the most part they stopped interacting and then became observers. But did not go away.

The dreams dont have any commonality, they show up in all sorts of dreams in all sorts of situations.

not sure what more detail you want.

I was just looking for a little story time. What does a Sasquatch mean to you? The Sasquatch might symbolize something or, more likely, someone very personal to you. He might actually be you yourself. IIRC, Carl Jung believed that all the characters in your dream were actually you assuming different roles. Literally, this should be true, because their personalities don't come from a place outside your mind, but friends and relatives of mine appear in dreams all the time so I don't know how far you should go with that interpretation. That being said, you don't know any real Sasquatches, so it is likely the Sasquatch is a representation of some archetype or personality within you.

But it's kind of lame that they just stand there watching you.

      Hmm

I don't know... I personally believe that while dreaming other forces can reach you. I mean, it's been proven, they have been shared dreams done by several LDer's on this forum. Their documentary is quite fascinating actually.

But I personally don't believe another force is occupying the image of a Sasquatch and observing you in your dreams for no apparent reason.

Who says I dont know any real sasquatches...lol
      Know one personally no...seen one...yes.

Im not certain I would call them a part of me. I am very well aware of different existences that my "self" participates in. How else could I wake up knowing things I have no way of knowing?

They only started watching when I decided to stop interacting with them.

I am pondering the archetype thing. Gestalts are there I know that, although I tend not to have the standard normal ones most people have.
