Being attacked and the attacker gets hurt

So, this morning I dreamed (non-lucid) I was in a heated argument, I don't remember why, and I don't know the person I was arguing with (except I had never seen her before, she was a middle-aged woman). It seemed to be at the entrance doors to a hotel or an office building or something, all I know was it was sunny and there were glass windows, we were at the entrance on the ground floor. Cosy furniture outside (why I thought hotel) and many potted plants.

I remember stating my argument and waiting for her to respond. She put on a very fake angry smile and grabbed my arm, forced me towards the seats near the reception, and growled something like "just come over here and I'll tell you" or something along those lines. She seemed very spiteful. The way she was grabbing my arm hurt so I flung my arm outwards to get her to back off and I told her I was not going to waste any more energy on her, somehow I knew she was not actually going to debate rationally.

I made my way out the front entrance, but just as I was doing so I felt a need to turn around. I saw the woman standing at the entrance holding up a small, black handgun which was pointed at me. Before I had any time to talk her out of shooting me (I was just opening my mouth to speak), she pulled the trigger. I felt the force of it hitting me, and a very mild stinging sensation on my left shoulder. I gasped in shock, but it was unwarranted. I raised my hand to cover the wound as if by reflex, and only felt a hole in my t-shirt, but no wound. Seems the pain was just a placebo.

The woman who shot me however screwed her face up in agony and dropped her gun. A red patch began to swell on her blouse where her right shoulder was, but there was no bullet hole on her blouse. It was as if the injury was instantly transported from me over to her.

I woke up there and then.

I can usually derive something from most of my dreams, symbols and connections to my waking life. But this one just baffles me to no end.

Funny. you posted at 3:33 am. My, time, I think. I think the key is, "I am not going to waste any more energy on you."

Haha, the other night/morning I got up for the loo, I thought to myself "wouldn't it be funny if it was 3:33".

I get back to bed approximately two minutes later, open up my phone and check the time. It was 3:35. I didn't really think much of it though, could have been off my a minute or two for all I know.

In what way do you mean the key is in that statement? I don't quite understand what you mean.
