You got SP in your dream? Howie's post must really have gotten to you. Do you think you could feel your body paralyzed back in bed? Or were you just dreaming you were paralyzed?

Thanks Robot for the kind words. Yeah, I'm usually aware at least of my body back in bed and in the dream I'm stuck or can't move. I'm sure it just passed but it's interesting at best that when I stuck my hand out for help it was that motion; that seem to get me out of it. Was that a mind over physical matter. Did my action change my bodies reaction and somehow release the SP? I don't know for sure, but I find it comforting.

Thanks for mentioning that and binural and Ganzfeld studies. I think I was the only person to test it but I was able to complete that study. Yeah it took me a month. But my feeling was this. In the PSI studies they either used 1/2 cut ping pong balls or dark mask with pink noise. Total absolution; no natural light or eyes covered and ears blocked by white or pink noises. I wanted to entered a lucid from that state and I did. I was happy to say the least. Thanks for the interest in my DJ & studies.

I think we have all experienced not being able to move in a dream. ALL dreamers. The SP that I usually speak of is not in a dream state. You awake from sleep to find yourself paralyzed. However I think there may be a connection here. It would stand to reason that this occurs often for a reason. Maybe our minds are somewhat aware of the fact that we are unable to move, maybe half conscious. <- Well like you have noted, "Low level lucids." Just in many cases the dreamer is not truly conscious of the fact that one, they are not in a dream, or lucid. Two, the natural SP that occurs carrying over into a dream.
If that is the case it would be a great dream sign for many people that experience a dream where they cannot move.

Whichever way you had released yourself from SP. it was just in time for you to kick some a55!!

Yeah this could be quite promising for me. In most cases I know I'm dreaming when I can't move, it almost a direct LUCID moment for me and I'm aware of my body in bed. I'm going to try to repeat this, do some sort of action (asking for help) or something similar to get me out or passed it.

Fragment 04/25/08
I woke up with my Son not sure where we were staying. I was taking him to some Star Wars event, we were close by because the them song (John Williams) woke us up. It was like we were staying in a hotel and Universal or something. I remember dropping him off at this even, not sure why I didn't go.

Later on I wasn't sure where this was but I was in a parking lot. I was watching another single dad his kids, just doing what they do (being a family) Although this was a bit funny but kinda when you bite down and say ohhhh ouch. This little girl was (about 3 or 4) was playing and watching this other girl (toddler). So the dad said "C'mon kids" and the little girl who was trying to be sweet but couldn't pick her up so kinda grabbed her arm and slowly dragged her. She wasn't hurt but I was like "hey...hey...hey...." trying to tell her you can't just drag her like that. I was talking to the dad and he asked me if I had my kids all the time. I said no I was "weekend warrior Dad" etc. I told him its not tough due to how you can't go out on the weekends etc. It's just that when they are babies it seems more busy but you miss it when they are older.

This was pretty cool visually and it stimulated a lucid. I was riding in the car with someone I don't hang out with typically which right off the bad was odd. I looked out the car it appeared we were moving fast and it was dark out. But things that were whizzing by such as space ships and apache helicopters all looked like video game graphics. I thought I immediately I was dreaming. I told my friend hey this is a dream. She looked at me like I was nuts. I put my hands on the dashboard and lifted the car into the air. We started flying and she seemed shocked like how was I doing this...I tried to interact with her more but it seemed to scramble the scene and I lost it.

But then I was immediately with my older friends. We were at a place I didn't recognize which I thought was odd and remembered the graphics and thought I'm still dreaming. So I told my friends I was dreaming and taught them how they can move objects with their mind. They all started practicing, it was quite cool. Not sure when that faded.

Re-Entry and Fight 10/9/08

This was cool, I haven't had a dream re-entry and go directly in Lucid in quite some time. I was with these people in a car. All of them were being quite assholes to me very confrontational. I woke up and started to focus on re-entering the dreams and kicking their ass. I closed my eyes and visualized the scene. Suddenly I was back in the car; I started beating the crap out of them knowing it was just a dream. I guess they made me quite mad.

Audio Visual Hypno BANG!!! 10/10/08

Okay I have had Hypno jerks (when you start dream) the shake and wake up but this was this is the most hardcore one I've had...EVER. I don't remember the dream other than something was falling on my head (it was like one of those long dustpans with a stick (like the guys who clean up movie theaters). I heard a huge bang like it hit my head and I swore I felt it. I mean I jumped awake like there was a fuggin earthquake. It was so freaking loud and seemed very real.

Just bizarre man.

Hi Phoenelai interesting how once you had that recognition through a DS that you became lucid.

I think that point is the Holy Grail in LDing once you find it you will always find it.

I am at the point of I know my DS's but i have got to put it in to practice in my dreams, realizing it, and then stepping back, looking again, and saying the magic words we all want to hear.....I am Dreaming....
