Dream 1
I was in my bedroom while my daughter played in the living room floor. I went in there and sat down with her, and then the door opened and the pastor of a local church walked in. We chatted for a few minutes about the baby and things, and then I realized that I was completely naked. I covered my breasts with a baby book and said, "Well, this is certainly in uncomfortable position to be in."
He said, "No, it's not uncomfortable, it's just plain embarrassing," and laughed. I excused myself and slinked my way back to my bedroom.
Dream 2
I walked into my old workplace (a T-shirt and novelty design company), but it was different. They had painted the wooden panelled walls white and replaced the lights. Even with the new lights, though, it seemed even darker than it really is, as if it were sucking all the light into itself. There was a blonde woman in the second desk, and although I don't recongize her as being anyone I know, apparently she was my friend, because we started chatting away. She told me Lo (the boss) had told her to find dead people to make t-shirts for. I told her to look through the obits. I was breezing through them when my old boss came out of the back office and walked by me as if I weren't there. The woman and I shared a look, and then I told her that I took that as my cue to leave, which I did.
I got into my car and started driving, but the scene changed. It was sunset, but amazingly so as every inch of sky was that dark, dusky orange color. I was no longer driving on a familiar road--I was on some kind of highway with orange construction barrels that were set up in a really confusing pattern. Somehow I took the wrong path and ended up driving into traffic, swerving to miss cars, headlights coming at me from everywhere. Then just as I passed through the barrels into the correct lane, it suddenly changed. I was looking down from above, and there was a white pickup with blue writing on the side and a metal rack in the back. I knew that it was my car but that it had changed, and I was hurtling towards the hispanic man getting out of it intending, I believe, to become him when I thought--"My car just became a truck of its own accord." I stopped myself, landed gently behind the man, and said "Ah ha! I'm dreaming!" And I started focusing on staying aware. I was able to follow the man who was now pushing the truck, curious as to what he was doing. He got the truck to the side of the road and reached into the back. I got the distinct impression that he was doing something secret and illegal, and I really wanted to know what it was, but then my daughter cried and I woke up.
Dream 3
I was on a road somewhere in the middle of nowhere. Bright blue, sunshiny sky was overhead. Tall green trees and crisp green grass (a color sharper than I've ever seen in real life) lined this road, and there were very few cars. I looked around, and then I looked down and I had a TV remote in my hand. Not just any TV remote, though--this was my remote from previous dreams, and it's one of my favorite dream gadgets. It's an ordinary TV remote except for three extra buttons labeled 1, 2, and 3. Each number gets programmed to an individual, and when I push the button, I am immediately transported to that person. This model was an upgrade from the last time it appeared in my dreams, though. It told me where the person was. I pushed 1, who I understood to be programmed to my father, and it told me "Green, Hole 2," and then I popped to the golf course feet away from him, hidden behind the bushes. I was confused for a second because he was at the tee, and I was on the green, so I decided that the remote must tell me what my destination is. I watched my dad through the trees for a second, decided he wasn't doing anything interesting, and hit the second button, "Kitchen," and popped home, where my mom was cooking dinner. I told my mom, and my dad too because he was back, that the remotes like that one had been reported to have some kind of problem leaving body parts behind. I told them I had put the remote away, but I knew I would still be using it. That's when I woke up.
