I find myself in an average hotel lobby. People are carrying their luggages back in forth behind and in front of me. Like any other hotel I've been to, some are alone and some have family and/or friends with them. Nothing out of the ordinary.

My family and I are waiting in the check in line with our baggage. Within moments, we are called to the nearest available attendant. The bags I'm carrying are heavy, but nothing that a little effort can't handle. I hobble with my family to meet a woman whom I recognized (from a magazine that I've looked at while in the bathroom). I thought she was attractive, more cute than sexy.

She doesn't seem to pay any extra attention to me as she calls each of my family member's names out, one by one. She hands us each a card with our names written in large bold letters across the center. The last name is incorrect and, since no one but myself seems to notice, I point it out.

With a quick apology, the woman, who was in her very early twenties, shuffled through scattered papers on her desk. She pulls out seemingly already prepared replacements for the misnomer cards. She lets out a slight giggle and walks out to her manager, who is fiddling with something on the pool deck.

I'm in Dakota's house walking along side her. Although I'm not one hundred percent sure, my guess is that she must have invited me. Shes giving me a tour of her house; it's not how it remembered it at all, although it looks oddly familiar. The house is two stories, white walls, and scarcely decorated, but it looks nice.

The first room Dakota shows me is her parent's room. Like the rest of the house, the main color of this room is white. Everything looks extremely clean with the exception of the light wood desk to my immediate right. There are papers scattered across the entirety of it; one is particular catches my eye. Slowly and silently, Dakota is strolling across the vast white rug that covers the entire room. I quietly read it out loud to myself, but she seems to overhear me. The message reads similar to this:

      Dear Dakota,
I don't want you hanging out with that boy. I know you are going to invite him over to the house while we are gone because you [like him] so much. I don't want him gambling around here like I know he usually does.

It is signed by her mother. I don't understand the accusations, but, oddly, I take no offense to them. Dakota doesn't seem at all embarrassed or surprised at what I have just read.

I'm at my old elementary/middle school and the day seems to be going how it usually does. I see Dakota and her friends in front of me. As I approach them Dakota steps from the group and tells me that she'll see me at lunch.

With seemingly no delay at all, lunch time comes around. I sit at the table I would normally sit at because I didn't see Dakota. I hear a soft and quick call of my name. When I turn around, the group is sitting at a table across the lunch area. One of the girls walks up to and begins to inquire about how I feel about Dakota. I really like her.

The response wasn't what I wanted to hear. She didn't want a relationship with me. She had someone better, someone older (this stood out noticeably in my dream mind). My conversation with her friend comes to an end, so I turn around and face the field where children used to play. Across the way I see her and her new boyfriend kissing.

My disappointment and sadness at the time almost outweighed my relief upon waking. I had never been so happy to wake up from a dream.

It seems to be the first day of college. I'm moving in to my dorm room and getting to meet my roommate for the first time. I have no idea what or who to expect, but I've got high hopes. What if he doesn't like me? What if we don't get along?

The next thing I know, I'm in my dorm. There is a wild party going on. The guests consist almost entirely of some of the most attractive women I've ever seen with the exception of one guy, who is much older then myself. Everyone appears to be trashed and having a good time.

Lunch time came around at my school. I have a usual routine when I go to lunch and usually buy the same thing almost everyday. For some reason today is different, although I can't put my finger on what it is.

Today I think I'll do things differently. I buy a one-third portion of what I'd usually buy on a typical day. As I go to sit down, I notice a problem. I will have to buy another one-third portion. Again, I go to sit down. A third time, I notice that something is wrong and that I will have to purchase the remainder of my lunch before I can sit down.

As I walk up for a third time, I get an awkward feeling, like people have noticed I've been up here multiple times and think I'm odd for doing so. When I finally get through the line a third time and buy my lunch, I look up at the clock and notice I only have five minutes to eat. Unfortunately, I didn't take a second look because it would have most likely triggered lucidity.

I'm walking on the sidewalk of an relatively empty city. It is night time, but everything I need or want to see is visible due to the various lights from the surrounding apartment buildings and shops. I have a close, but unidentifiable friend accompanying me. He suggests we go into a bar/night club on the right side of the street. Because he has a fake ID, he is able to walk straight in without any questions. I, on the other hand, have to find my own way in. I have no fake ID.

I pull some move on the bouncer that would absolutely never work in real life, put apparently it works on dream bouncers. I don't remember exactly what the move was, but I think I held a beer in my left hand so the bouncer could see it and strolled in like I had walked out for a cigarette.

I'm inside and the club is crowded. It is difficult to move and very dark, so I don't see any chance of me finding my original companion. As I'm walking around, I noticed a kid from my school. He is playing some odd variation of beer pong with a fat man I've never seen before. They are bouncing the ping-pong ball off of a slope and trying to make it into the classic, plastic blue and red party cups. As I walk up to them, I notice Dakota and since she hasn't yet noticed me yet, I decide to surprise her. I grab her from behind and she quickly turns around and greets me. She is very drunk. Wasted.

After a short, casual conversation, I remember her loudly asking me, "What are you wearing?"

I look down, and I am wearing my usual t-shirt and jeans, but as I look around, everyone else is dressed in a collared shirt and nice pants. A little embarrassed, I decide to go get a drink. As I walk up to the bar and order, and older man confronts me and questions my age. He orders me to show him my ID and threatens to throw me in jail if I don't comply. Nervously, I explain that I don't have it on me, it is in my car. He misunderstands me at first, so I correct him and he agrees to give me a few minutes to get my ID from my car outside.

My plan was to ditch him once I was out of his sight and do just that. I sprint as fast as I can to my friend's house, which was nearby. There I explain to him what had happened. He suggests we leave the area for a while, until the man forgets about what happened or no longer cares. He grabs his keys and we begin to walk to his car.

Not to far ahead, both of us notice a cop to the right. She gives us an extremely suspicious look, but we try to play it off. She pulls up behind us and flashes her lights and sirens. I walk up to calmly. She gives me a quick glance, looks down at a sketch that looks nothing like a human, much less me, and stares back at me again. I know I'm caught.

She rolls her window down, and tells me I'm under arrest. I sit on the floor and begin to cry with the thought in my head that from this point on, my life will never been the same. I've ruined my life.

The dream fades out at this point and I wake up at around 2:20 A.M. thinking it is much later than it actually is. I drift back to sleep.

When I reenter the dream, I am immediately lucid. Nothing I remember triggered it with the exception, possibly, of my thought before closing my eyes that I ruined my chance to reenter my dream and become lucid. For the majority of the dream, I attempt to summon Dakota, so we could finally hang out. Unfortunately, I'm not the greatest at summoning people, so the effort proves unsuccessful.

A thought comes to mind: Instead of summoning her, why not find her? Thats what I do. I knew the best place to look will most likely be the bar/night club from earlier in the dream. When I arrive at the location, in its place is a large outdoor concert. There is at least three hundred fans, dancing and cheering and singing along. I think I spot her, so I run across the crowd before she moves out of sight.

When I get close, I realize it is her blonde friend. She notices the disappointed look on my face and is saddened by it. I ask what is wrong and she responds in a soft tone that I never want to see her. I feel terrible. I reassure her that I had came back into my dream to see her and she is overjoyed.

As the dream fades out, I remember seeing Dakota's smiling face.

I'm in an underground tunnel. This isn't an ordinary underground tunnel however. There is dark, murky water up to my thighs. The tunnel is very confined and has multiple outcroppings, like an ant nest. I am wearing a desert military suit, fully equipped with weapons and ammunition. There are people with me, but I cannot tell who it is. It is much too dark.

My commanding officer, or so it appears, gives me an order to say around and to search and secure the area while him and the rest of the people in our group explore. He promises they won't go too far off and that I should be fine here on my own.

Once they leave, the darkness begins to show itself. I can hardly see my hands two inches in front of my face but, with the aid of some hi-tech night vision equipment, I am able to see to at least my feet. Everything is now tinted green. As I explore alone, I am very frightened at how unfamiliar and unreal and surreal this place appears to be.

As a venture into one of the cramped tunnels, on my hands and knees, I run into a creature. It looks like an enlarged cockroach-like insect about the size of myself. I does not appear hostile, so I'm not afraid, although initially I was startled.. Somehow (possibly telepathically) the creature communicates me. Unfortunately, I don't remember at all what the creature said to me.

Moments later, my superior comes back. He seems extremely disgruntled at the fact that his troops cannot do the jobs they are assigned. He wasn't referring to me.

My friend and I are in a my bedroom. He pulls out a blunt and suggests so smoke it. Without any second thought, I agree. He takes a hit, passes it to me, and I do the same. The blunt tastes like I would imagine a cigar would, although I know it is not tobacco on the inside. This continues for a good minute or so. The blunt is about three-fourths of the way smoked when my younger brother walks in.

He sits down on the bed but, despite his renown for being a tattle-tale, neither my friend or myself is fearful of being in trouble. My friend walks out of the room for a quick second and during that time, my younger brother takes a hit. My friend returns accompanied by my other younger brother. He follows the trend and takes a hit. The blunt is now halfway gone.

I sense my mom coming into the room with just enough time to stuff the half smoked blunt between my crossed legs. She doesn't notice, proceeds with her business, and walks out of the door after a couple seconds of nonsense.

The dream continues, but it is much too faded to document accurately.

I thought your mom was going take take a toke as well.:p

Nice format for your DJ. Those pictures are sharp looking, and work as well as a title.
