Car-rear
This dream was about being an actor. I dreamed me and a few close friends of mine were in the acting business and we were driving on our way to our respective auditions/ jobs. My job was playing a teenange mutant minja turtle voice actor while my freind was going to attend an audition. Another part of my dream involves a famous cook and a little girl and her mother. The girl was soo sure that she would get a high score on her cooking from her teacher, but when she realised how finicky and odd her teacher was she lost interest in trying to impress him with her cooking, the mother on the other hand never stoped trying to motivate her daugther to keep on trying to impress him because it was "important". But the girl remained uninterested.

Harp St.
I remember walking down a street filled with people having a good time walking and chatting. I seemed to be enjoying myself in the company of those around me. I then found a younger guy that was holding a harmonica in his hand, " What key is it in?" i asked. "C" to which he repled. I then asked if i could see it. He seemed a bit hesitant at first but then lent it to me. As i played a little bit people gatherd around. I felt i was just goofin off and just winging it like always, but people seemed to enjoy it. When i went to hand the harmonica back to the guy i noticed it started falling apart So i tried fixing it before giving back to him but there were too many pieces and i lost my paitence and just gave it back to him, pieces and all.

Sing Along
I was being in a large room filled with people, someone was at the piano and we all started taking turns singing parts of a song. I dont remember what song it was.

Wild Blue Yander
I was walking down a hall in an astronaught suit in slow motion with other friends who were in astronaught suits. As we approached the end of the hall there was a bright light, like the blinding kind of light you see after stepping out into daylight for the first time in hours. I then saw a spaceship suspended over the earth below, the other astronaughts borded the craft and i stayed standing in front of it. Then without notice, the platform i was standing on disconnected from the ship and i fell. Trying to hang on to something i flet as if the platform which i was holding on to was being controlled by remote to help put me in a better position so that i could see the spacecraft as it took off. I remember seeing myself with the solar visor pulled down over my face and outide of my body looking at myself so that i could not see my face but only the reflections of the sky on the shaded vizor of the space suite looking up out into the heavens.

There was a woman trying to explainto a guy how to make lots of money in real estated without risking any of your own. As the dream progresed, she eventually ended up making pleanty of money from having done it. But no where NEAR as much as the man standing next to her who happened to be the investor of the whole project. To her, she felt like she was a major successfull bigshot. "Too bad your not nearly as successfull as the guy standing next to you", is all i could think of.

Jurassic Dream!!
Todays Dream starts with me and some girl in a haunted mansion of some sort trying to find our way out alive. IT then turns into a play where i have a small role in it. I also remember checking out soem girl's online profile who happens to be very religious. Last thing i remember is a scenario much like the haunted house accept only instead of ghost trying to kill us, it was dinasaurs. They would find and devuor anyone who tried to escape. But me being the presistent person i am, find a way out and end the dream trying to figure out a way to save everyone else still trapped inside.

Tasty Dream
Today, i dreamed that i could see mars in the night sky, bigger than the moon surounded by a cluster of stars in a cresent shape around it. Next i was inside a video game much like doom and duke nukem, running around and blowing up objects like barrels and suc, no monsters however . After that it turned into a movie like lord of the rings, in it i was fighting imps and trying to avoid sleeping ogres. I also remember somthing about fighting a man who looked like he was from the colonial period and then eating dounuts. I remember the first dounut i ate in this dream was a stale glazed dounut but then realizing that there were a freash box nearby i immediatly siezed a sprinkled one... :'P

Sorry for the lack of detail and such, My dream recall isnt the greatest because i only started logging my dreams 4 or 5 days ago, all of the previous dreams i have posted up untll now are all the ones i've already written in my journal. From here on i'll be posting my dreams as they come Hopefully some will actually be LD's.

SUCCESSS!!! My first LD!
The majority of this dream was just a regular dream, but twords the end i became lucid.
I was walking along my back yard at night and i spotted a pile of bones laying right next to my house, this wasnt just any ol pile of bones however, they were dinasour bones! I then said to myself " I dont remember there being dinasour bones there. I then started walking into the house when it dawned on me, " could i be dreaming?" i said. At first i didnt believe that i was dreaming but then, on second thought it couldnt hurt to do one of those reality Checks i remember reading about on Dream Views forum. So i plugged my nose with my fingers and tried to take a breath which to my supprise i was able to breath. I tried it a second time and success. It was at that point i became lucid. "What should i do now that im finally lucid" i said. Looking outside i notice it was night time and remembered that controlling illumination was difficult in dreams or impossable. I also noticed a leak in the roof where there wasnt one before, also it wasnt even raining outside, "thats funny" i said to myself. So i went to switch the light on and at first, nothing happened, so i started walking away and the light went on for about a second or two and then flickered and went back out again. "Heh, how about that! So i guess its true when they say you cant controll light in your dreams". Walking over to my parents room i decided to see if they were home in my dream. My dad answers the door and i asked to talk to mom and he sais " she in the bathroom, she cant talk right now."

Next i tried looking at my own hands to increase the realism of my LD, it was at that point i started to lose lucidity because my hands looked like a black persons hands, and im not black. After this i felt the dream fading away verry rapidly and I thought about dreamspinning but it was too late at this point because i had realized that i was fully awake and could feel my real body once again.


Other things i remember about this dream were Shark fishing, an old resturaunt owner showing me a toy lightsaber he had ( it was green btw), and some other stuff which i cant seem to recal anymore.

Otherwise why would we have them in the first place? At least this is what ive come to decided. So now i'll be posting my dreams every day. Its been a while since i used this forum but now im back

Dreams are important.

Usually people look at their hands for a reality check, not to increase the the realism, because your hands usually look different in a dream. So, I guess that's why it had the reverse effect.

My hands usually look normal or are invisible.

Im living on a pirate ship at sea. But i want to leave so i get on a small boat and take off. I then come across a huge semi truck shaped boat floating in the sea. At first i thought it was a pirate ship but turns out it was a floating restaurant. So i ask to speak with the owner about getting a job. The owner after asking me a few questions says there are a few jobs available. We go back into the dining area and strangely all of the customers are gone. And there is a room full of other people that had been freshly hired. This is beginning to feel some kind of workers orientation. Were all given a list of duties to perform and later asked to take a seat. Now the room looks more like a classroom than a restaurant, complete with a blackboard which the owner begins to write on. Everyone in the "class" is in teams of two and a classmate comes up to me and starts complaining that we wernt paired up together.

This dream seems like a combination of different things in my life. I guess its all starting to get to me haha.

Does anybody else have this problem? I know ive been having dreams but they just dont stick in my memory very well. Soon as i wake up i would be lucky to remember any of it at all. Anybody have any suggestions for having more vivid and memorable dreams?

Okay so, I wake up in the middle of the night and try going back to sleep. Next thing i notice is a bird fluttering around right next to my head. Im having a hard time moving but i managed to stand up out of bed and walk out of my room. But then i wake back up in my bed. I was kind of lucid but it was extremely brief.

Im going through a department store when i notice an asian friend who cant speak very good english. He's at one of the customer counters trying to get a money back guarantee but the man behind the counter wont give him one because my friend dosnt speak good english. Afterwords i tell him to come get me next time he has trouble and i would help him.

So im driving along down the road and every thing's fine, until i begin to have trouble seeing the road. Its almost like the entire front dash and the steering wheel got bigger... or I got smaller. I run off the road a few times and manage to park at a local pub. After spending a little time in the pub, the owner announces that someone had put a hole in the wall. So i go out to the parking lot to see if it was my car. Luckily it wasnt haha phew...

Looking across the parking lot i see a yellow motorcycle painted with a hornet theme... There were even hornets buzzing around and inside the thing so i step back. Right when i step back a biker tosses me the keys to the bike and says " I notice you been eyeing it up, go ahead and take it for a spin. But be sure to give it a full tank" I tell him that i was just admiring his bike and didnt have time to go joy riding. So i gave him back his keys. Besides.... the tank was almost empty anyway...bastard was trying to get a free tank of gas out of me -_-. pffftt.

Don't quote me on this, but I've read things containing tryptophan (precursor to serotonin and I think melatonin) can help in having more vivid dreams, or just straight up melatonin supplements or something.

One thing that I know works for me, though, is smoking some Calea zacatechichi a couple of times throughout the day. When I get to sleep the dreams are so realistic and vivid and has even helped me reach lucidity on two occasions.

It also increases the number of dreams you have in a night and increases recall, though it doesnt work that well for everybody, but its cheap stuff and worth a try id say.

There was some kind of small civil war going on in my back yard and i was forced to join the fight. I didnt want to because i despise war and apparently so did a few other people in my group. Not only were we forced to join, but they havent been feeding us much at all. It was at that point that we decided to make a run for it. We wernt going to put our asses on the line for something we didnt even believe in, so we took off. Shortly after that the commanding squad had noticed we had left and started to pursue us all. Looking for a place to hide i duck under behind a bush but they had already spotted me from a distance. So i run over to an apartment building and get inside the elevator. While the elevator was half way to the second floor i press the stop button. Hoping that they wouldnt be able to get to me even if they knew where i was.
