i had 3 dreams and completed advanced TOTM last night.
1) i'm in my house or my grandma's house, i don't know, because the house doesn't exist in real life. massive infestation of rodents- they were living in the mattress and everything. my grandma was catching them and storing them in the microwave, alive, and i was angry with her for doing that, because they could escape. so i turned on the microwave. my grandma pulled at me while i was pressing the buttons but she was surprisingly weak. i knew i didn't want to watch the rodents' bodies explode or anything so i didn't watch. i went into the bedroom again where my mom was on the bed reading, and i sat there and realized that there might be more rodents (i think they were rabbits) hiding in the walls. so i grabbed a chef's knife from the drawer that was next to the bed, just as an enormous rabbit put its front legs up on the side of the bed. i sliced at it and was finally able to kill it, and then i found a small bite of flesh in the side of my leg. i was very mad.
2) i think i was lucid when this second dream started, and decided to try TOTM. i was flying, heading out the atmosphere. the atmosphere was unusually thick- not by viscosity, but the distance it extended from earth. i was passing through layers and layers of fluffy clouds, and i was wondering why it took so long. i was amazed at how vivid the images were, and i passed a dark thunder cloud with realistic, vibrant lightning. it was gorgeous. i tried to speed up and immediately found myself in outer space. i hadn't seen the solar system leave behind me. i guess i skipped that part. there were an abnormal lot of galaxies and nebulae and all that good stuff mixed in with the stars, and i couldn't decide where i wanted to go. i was still deciding when i felt solid ground materialize beneath my feet. i looked behind me and i was on a planet which looked remarkably like earth. buildings, etc. it was night and i had landed on a rooftop of a popular urban area. apparently people on this planet walked around on rooftops as well as on the ground, because there were people with me on this roof and on others. i found a metal PDA-like device by my feet that told me it was the year 58 on this planet. i looked around and realized that it was an advanced civilization, technology-wise. the people on the rooftop with me were completely human though- dressed like Earthlings, and they speak English. i said to a friendly middle-aged woman, who was with her kids, started talking to me as though i was a local. i said i wasn't from there and had to get going. i don't remember much after this. i remember going to a garage sale, doing some shopping, and going to a meeting before flying out the window.
3) i watch in third person as Velma is trying to force Daphne into this metal elevator-like box. it was a time capsule thing. Daphne is able to trick Velma into getting locked in instead. then i take Velma's place and try to get out. i'm barely, barely lucid and stupid, so i don't remember that i've already completed TOTM. i can barely remember the task too, so i "remember" it as "go to a different place in time". i get out of the elevator/time machine and i'm in the far future. everything and everyone is a blue plastic gumdrop-shaped thing, and the environment is pure white. no texture. just blue on white, wit the occasional metallic fire-hydrant thing. then i fly through the gumdrops as though it's outer space, trying to find a new planet. (remember my thinking's impaired, so i'm really confused.) now i figure the blue things as stars. i'm flying past them really fast, but i "want my experience to be more realistic", so i try to slow the stars down, because i remembered that in real life, it takes a long time to pass stars. (my logic was bad in this dream, so you might not follow what i'm saying). i have no luck leaving the gumdrop planet behind, so i go back to the time machine to try another time period, and press a red button. i get out of the time machine and i'm in what i thought of as Mario world at the time, but it probably isn't now that i think about it. the environment was a computer generated valley and it was grassy, with giant red mushroom toadstool things, and waterfalls. i saw a small Helga from Hey Arnold, and picked her up and threw her. she disappeared and i got points. then i saw Tommy from Rugrats and picked him up and threw him. he didn't disappear right away. he just fell and continued walking around. i saw Angelica, threw her, and got points. then i saw baby Dil. i picked him up, aimed at Tommy, and threw him, hoping to destroy them both so i could get bonus points. it didn't work. i missed. i gave up and kept walking along the valley. as i got further it became a playroom. the story behind this playroom is that my parents went to some boring place to have a meeting, and there is a playroom upstairs for children to play. so what happened was, i walk out of the time machine, walk along the valley, start throwing Nickelodeon characters, walk further along the valley, and i'm in this playroom that comes with a background story. now my brother and i are upstairs in this playroom. the layout: it's a long rectangle room, red floor, gold walls. you walk in. there's a bunk bed-type structure on one side, a rack of CDs on the other side, and straight ahead of you at the far end of the room, there's a small 1990's TV with about 4 different game systems set up. (this room doesn't exist in real life). i started looking at CDs. i find one that i like. then i look at the back then can't find the song i was interested in because the names of the songs keep changing. i go to the TV with video games and notice how pristine the controllers look, even though the playroom is a public place. i pick an N64 game that's sort of like Mario Kart on motorcycles. i turn it on and accidentaly press one-player even though my brother is there waiting to play. i continue the one-player game anyway and i'm amazed at how easy it is for me to turn sharp turns and not fall off narrow bridges. as soon as i notice this, i start messing up. however, there are gems along the course which give you points if you pick them up along the way (like Spyro). i see 2 huge gold gems off course and go get them, then gems start appearing everywhere. i collect them all then find it difficult to maneuver. then i wake up.
notes: 1) you should know that i hate rodents, and my grandma once had raccoons living in her basement and she wanted to capture them and eat them. 2) i enjoyed flying through the clouds and through space more than i did on the planet. it was so beautiful out there. 3) the gumdrop future was probably inspired by one Spongebob episode where Squidward went into a time machine and the future was a vast white space with weird things happening. a future so plain and lonely like that is unsettling. even in my dream i felt uncomfortable. 4) i think i had another dream that i barely, barely remember: house, video game, underground, plane, genie, save baby
