1) When I wake up I can remember about 3 dreams, which is (I think) normally good, but the problem is that I only remember about 1 or 2 seconds, except for when I wake up during a dream, then I still remember only around 5 seconds, is this how much I’m supposed to remember?

2) I heard there are audio tapes that help in dream recall, is this true?

3) I know that at the start you should try to wake up during/immediately after your REM period, but do I have to continue doing this when lucid dreaming? Or is this just an exercise to increase recall?
