How can I stop myself from moving when I awaken?

So I don't forget the dream I just had. Should I use a mantra or something?

Is that two questions? Seems like it.
Firstly, there isn't much you can do to help remember the previous dream, but try going back into that dream and continuing it if you are using the DEILD method, that way it should be easier to remember one dream rather than two.
Secondly, not moving can be achieved easily when exiting a Lucid dream, because you can tell yourself to stay still before you exit, otherwise just practice not moving when you wake up and perhaps do a mantra like "I will realise when I wake up" or "I will stay still when I wake up".

Just because you move doesn't mean you will forget your dream. I recommending writing on a stick note "Remember dreams!" or "Do not move...dreams!" and putting it somewhere where you will see it FIRST thing it the morning. It helps a lot.

Mancons words exactly, even if you move, just shut your eyes and think.
But if you want some methods,
      Say a mantra before bed.
Study your eyelids for a few minutes, and tell yourself when you see this, you're awake, and you have to stay still.

You are going to have to move at some point if you want to write it down. When I lay still for too long, I end up accidentally falling asleep again and dreaming about writing in my dream journal. It can be so realistic, I am sometimes surprised to find a blank page in the morning.
