Thumbs down Could school be my dream sign? (say it ain't so)

I should do a bit of an introduction here - I'm just back from a relaxing three day holiday in Gozo (look it up), where I dreamt a lot but the dreams were very foggy and I just accepted everything. (I recall only very very vague fragments) I just forgot about LD'ing while I was there.

Now I'm back, and back to doing my reality checks and whatever (to date, I have never shoved my fingers into my nose in a dream )

Me being a student and all, I have a suspicion that school is my dream sign. It's terribly boring, I know, and I wish I had recurring dreams about music or something I like, but I'd say over half my dreams involve school in some way.

If you think school's my sign, where do I go from here? (I'll start my journal any day now, btw, when I start focusing on recall more)

Chances are your dreamsign is indeed school. I bugs me too sometimes (only with work and colleagues).
A DJ really helps with recall so that's a good start. And since I'm just starting myself, and also want to get off the boring work themed dreams here is what I do.
I try to do a lot of ADA when at work. Ask colleagues questions like what day it is, or what time. Just really be aware at school and hope it gets into your dreams which in turn could help you break out of it and lucid your way out of it.

I've been doing this for a few days now, and I'm starting to recall more and more dreams unrelated to my work. Of course the work dreams are still there, but that's fine, they can help me become lucid.

It's okay. Your dreams will shift away from school once you're done with it. After all we spent more than half of our waking time there.

I'll have to try being really aware at school. I'm somewhat of a daydreamer and proud, but I'll give it my best shot.

I'm looking forward to leaving, to be honest. My dreams aren't always school, sometimes they just incorporate DCs I know from school etc, but it's a definite recurring thing.
How do I go about using it as a dream sign though, besides by being aware while I'm there?

Yea, it will probably change once you're done with it. At least it's not a phobia you have. Mine is bees stinging me, and I actually remember the pain in my dreams before I become lucid
