Yay! Starting to remember my dreams again!

It's been a while since I was able to remember my dreams in any detail. Last night I had 3 dreams that I could remember in fairly good detail. Neither seemed connected to the others and seemed to be fairly random ideas. One dream I found myself at the new shop where I'll be starting a new job in a week. The other involved this huge swimming pool located in a part of town that couldn't possibly support a pool. The last dream involved my wife and youngest daughter - the zombies were coming and we needed to grab a few things and get as far away as possible . . . I wasn't able to do an RC as I've just begun my training and the dream only lasted a couple minutes. But it's a good sign and I am making progress towards LD!!

The other night I had a dream that I remembered as well in very vivid detail and I saw something that I still remember, however I don't know what it was, but I'm assuming is was a sign of some type. Just a little rectangle sitting on the ice with a bright green diamond shape in the centre. It must mean something as it stuck out like a sore thumb!

I've started my dream journal, and it does work best if I don't move when I wake up, recount as much of my dreams as I can and then roll over, grab my notebook and start scribbling. I'm not too worried about the content of my dreams at this point as I know I'll be able to control things a little better as I go.

I'm just getting started, so I'll be asking more questions as things go and I really appreciate all that candid info from all members here!! You guys really do make dreams come true!!

      cheers

Just a side-note . . . the LD's that I have had occurred many years ago and I've always wondered what they were about and such. This website and it's members have given me great insight and a quest to learn more.

      cheers

      LucidAurora,
So glad to hear that you are starting to recall dreams in detail. Good for you! I also had lucid dreams many years ago (about 20 years ago), and I too wonder what they were about since I only recall very few of those LDs - isn't that frustrating? I am glad that you also find DreamViews insightful. Looking forward to hearing more about your learning process. Please, do ask as many questions as you can. Perhaps we can learn from one another?
      Best! JoannaB
You may say I'm a dreamer.

      Congrats!
Vivid dreams also mean that you have more awareness, so it's some good progress, keep practicing!
