when I sleep, there is NOTHING.

A psychology teacher once told me that it's not that I "don't" dream... but that I repress my dreams.

She had no suggestions on how to solve the situation.

      Any ideas?

As several texts - on this site and others - suggest; try the different tips on dream-recall. Perhaps you could use an alarm to wake you up at specific intervals (90 minutes) where you are dreaming. When/if you wake up, write down what you were dreaming about. Simple keywords will help you reconstruct large parts of the dream when you wake up the next morning.

I have little or no experience, so read the texts you can find on the topic.

      regards

I've always had decent dream recall but last night I tried what a website I saw said, just over and over again telling yourself in your mind that you will wake up and remember the dream.

I don't know if it really worked or not but I did have a lot of dreams that I remember.

YOu could try telling yourself before you sleep that you WILL have a dream and you WILL remember it. Keep repeating it before falling asleep.

EVERYONE has dreams, just that the ones who say they don't just don't remember them, thats why a journal is important aswell.

Very true, a lot of people think "Well I just DONT dream I guess", but as you said everyone has dreams, the people that claim they dont just dont remember them.

So your telling me you never have recalled any dreams in your whole life or just not that often? Try changing your lifestyle or sleep patterns. Sometimes i get longer dreams after ive done certain things i dont normally do.

I think i know what problem you're having..

It struck me that i could never remember dreams when i spent alot of time thinking before i tried to sleep. I would lie in bed and think about everything that day, aswell as what intrgued me, what i was interested in..pretty much everything that crossed my mind.

If this applies to you, try to focus on sleeping more than thinking about your day.

      This helped me

      Melatonin:

you can buy it at almost any nutrition store that sells naturals.

A small drop under the tongue will tell your body to release its natural sleep agent and not only is getting to sleep easier, but so is vivid dreaming.
