Do you have a dreamsign that always triggers lucidity?

I was wondering if anyone has a dreamsign that always triggers a lucid dream because i have a dreamsign and i dream of it nearly every night so if it is possible to train your mind to always recognize a particular dreamsign then i will do just that (i have a few that i always dream of).

I don't have one that *always* triggers lucidity, but my easiest triggers when I'm not trying to LD are sexuality (especially public masturbation and opportunities for live sexual encounters, neither of which occur outside of dreams) and nightmares that reach a certain level of intensity. (Mild bad things happening may slide under the radar, but if it's worse than usual, I may get suspicious.)

No dream goals at the moment...just flying and letting stuff happen is kinda fun, and it's hard to motivate myself to try LDing lately.

Whenever I saw 'weird' I do a reality check, whenever I say it in dreams I know I'm dreaming.

False awakenings never fail for me. Well, within the past few months, at least. It always makes me lucid.

Finding abnormalities in my fish (them having babies, getting sick, dying, out of tank) are becoming a close second.

      Cool Watch= Dreamsign

I look at my watch alllll the time when I'm awake so in dreams it only makes sense that i do it too except when I look at my watch in the dream the numbers are usually going crazy! Then i know I'm dreaming and to make it a little bit more clear I spin around a little.

for some reason, i always gallop on all fours in my dreams. i would say that this triggers lucidity around 90% of the time.

That's kind of a funny one! I wish I had one like that.

it is extremely fun! i say gallop, but is more like a combo of a kangaroo and a cheetah. i get about 10 meters up with each bound...very easy to transition to flight at the point of realization.

Girls usually; because what happens in my dreams is completely against how I act in waking life, so for me it is easy to recognise I am dreaming, just by knowing the situation or actions are not those I am usually accustomed to.

Saying that, I had a dream last night where a DV member was getting all frisky on my sofa, but failed to get lucid from that

I often realise I'm dreaming when I'm washing up. It might be because I'm looking at my hands - a technique often used to increase dream vividness or lucidity. When I realise I'm dreaming I like to go outside - this increases the brightness and clarity of my dream more than anything else I've tried. It's a wonderful feeling to open a door and step outside into the bright sunshine, feeling the wind, and knowing that everything you can see has been created by your own mind.

I guess that you could just think of your dream sign every time you visit DreamViews to build an unconscious link between the two.

I got exactly the same thing! Sort of a frog-like idea, but closer to the ground. Heh, and I thought I was the only one But I'm only trying to LD for a month or so now, and I haven't had this. I pretty sure I'll get lucid when I do though, it's a typical dreamsign for me.

Look for things that are common in a lot. Even simple things.
I seem to have water or pools in my dreams a lot I have noticed,
so now any time I run the tap, wash my hands, take a shower I reality check often.
Only started this so will let you know how it goes.

Yes, there is one that works with almost 100% accuracy for me. It is flying. If I am in the air by my own power, meaning without an airplane or a hot air balloon or something, I am definitely dreaming. In order to make the dream sign appear, I make a lot of attempts during the day to float off the ground by thinking myself into the air. When I finally get into the air, it completely definitely means I am dreaming. That is the document that got me my own property in the lucid dream world, and it has been my main induction technique this whole time.
How do you know you are not dreaming right now?

I am mostly become lucid in my old old house, or lately i am starting to become lucid in my new house which i am happy about. I used to rarely become lucid n other locations but lately i keep becoming lucid in shopping centres\malls\supermarkets etc which i don't get because i haven't trained myself to recognize this dreamsign, i think i have just realised it without knowing.

You need to decide on a dream sign when you are awake, and think about it so much when you are awake that you end up dreaming about it. You should do a reality check every time you think about it. If you make doing that a rule, you will do that when you dream the dream sign.
How do you know you are not dreaming right now?

One of the biggest dream signs for me is magic, more specifically harry potter. This would include flying on brooms, using wands, and all the other crazy shenanigans that those books/movies contain.
Have you ever had a dream, Neo, that you were so sure was real? What if you were unable to wake from that dream? How would you know the difference between the dream world and the real world?
