Aren't the mosquitoes real bad any other time of year?
I have had two destinations where have always wanted to go. The red woods , which i did get to, and Alaska.
Before man $*%*(#@() it up like everything else.

I went to Alaska in 1995 for $250 round trip, now I think it's about $500 round trip ticket, not too bad considering it cost me $3,000 to drive down...I love Canada.
The mosquitoes are bad in hte summer...don't let that scare you, there is repellent. Anyway I hope you make it. Let me know if you do.

That scares me. ;_; You have made a wise decision though. Long hair is too much maintanance. It took me an hour to blowdry my old hair. >.< It takes me 10 minutes now&#33;

My decision was made after going to a punk show. I know, kinda silly... but I couldn&#39;t help it.

They&#39;re adjustable--you just put it to the strength you can do, then tighten up as you get stronger. Mine is not too bad; my bf&#39;s is really tight, and he shot thru a small tree with it. (Darn, we should have gotten a picture of that....)

Freshbrains, everybody looks short next to those mountains. The scenery is beautiful&#33; Was it a fun ride down? I would never ski, that looks too dangerous.

thanks, Moonbeam&#33; I LOVE this color, too. It&#39;s just a sporty as red but not as likely to get you pulled over. The car is a bit of an adolescent-dorky tuner but the performance is far better than any other car I&#39;ve owned.

Stockey&#39;s a great deterrent because of his looks, but he&#39;s a friendly loving dog and a Canine Good Citizen/ registered Therapy Dog. We adopted him thinking he&#39;d be good protection for me since I spend a fair amount of time out in the woods by myself and am on the petite side.

BTW, the bow is quite sexy&#33; Do you compete at all?

Very few places give you a &#39;ride down&#39; that isn&#39;t fun. Mostly the crowds can ruing skiing, or bad conditions, but Saturday was basically perfect. Windy, though, so I couldn&#39;t get to the summit.
Skiing isn&#39;t dangerous while you&#39;re learning. And belive me, it is worth it. It feels like you&#39;re flying.

Also, if after a full day of skiing you come to the top of a steep trail full of moguls and ice, and your legs are screaming "TURN AROUND&#33;".... LISTEN TO THEM.
