If you should be able to get it back, don't waste any time querying about it. Taxes i am sure must suck really bad and i'm aware you may be stuck for time, but if its this much money, go to them or whoever you would see and talk to them about it. This is a lot of money and if you should be able to get some of it back, you should try anything in your power to get it back.

Sorry I didn't answer sooner(phone lines are messed up). I live in the USA in Georgia. Most of those threats weren't taken seriously at all. Its weird that there are so many shootings in Georgia. Every time I turn on the news someone was killed(that's why I don't watch the news). There was a shooting near my school once, it in a near-by neighborhood or something. We missed 2 class periods that day(didn't mind that) but still, I don't see why people have to kill each other.

Someone just sent me a horrific message on facebook. Like, this person sounds like a homicidal rapist. I can't get his message out of my head. I did report it, but who knows if anything will be done about it.

Heh. Once on Myspace someone created an account "The Unknown" and sent hate mail to everyone who went to my school. I didn't use myspace though I heard about some of the nasty things sent (and, for some reason some people suspected me being an all-black wearer in those days ).

Anyway those people have no lives, their heartless and get off through spreading fear. Remember you're not alone! Major hugs!

Thats horrible! They should do somthing about that, its not fair to be subjected to that sort of stuff

As for me, all's well with getting pulled over. It was just scary to get yelled at. He actually let me off with a warning. I was speeding and didn't even realize it! D'oh!

Heres a hug

You know how i deal with those people, instead of reacting to their hateful message by feeling a little scared. I send one back that will creep them out just as much. Someone did it to me on YouTube after i commented on some Islam video about sharia law, it was a perfectly true and fair comment and i received a death threat message. Sent him one back with a really creepy nature.

His response;

"You need some serious help brother, i hope you find Allah, and soon"

Lucid Seeker, that sounds like a great way to deal with someone like that.

Reminds me of scam-baiting - have you read some of those stories?

I was frustrated and went to bed right after that. Then I found myself waking up to a bright, sunny morning and a clearer head. I layed in bed a little while and perused my most recent Shonen Jump magazines before getting up and helping my mother make breakfast. I then resigned myself to the fact that there's nothing I can do about the taxes and decided not to worry about them any more.

Well, I'll be getting a return from federal taxes and owed for state taxes, so I get a grand-total of $7! Even though some $300-ish won't be returned to me (something about not having had enough deducted to warrant a return...), I did realize that the money I spent on a uniform for my old job as a barista will be returned when I turn in that uniform! It's not a whole lot, but it's better than nothing
