      Alex M. WILD Workbook

Funny... an online workbook! If only my school would allow such things! My handwriting is a mess...

      Well here goes I guess.

      July 26
      Sleep time: ~11:30/12:00
      Alarm: 5:45
      Procedure:
I woke up, jotted down some notes from my dream, and proceeded downstairs. I got my big glass of water, took a few sips and headed back upstairs, after saying hello to my dog who just woke up ! I sat in my chair for about a minute and listened to my musical alarm. I went to the bathroom, and got back into bed on my right side. (Indecently, does anyone else have the problem that they can't sleep on their left side because they feel their heart? Thats my major problem with lying on my side.) I was thinking about my previous dream and letting my mind wander as I attempted to drift off to sleep. Every now and then, maybe every 5-10 minutes or so I would snap back to "WILD! Right" which would wake me up a bit. After a while, my body was numb and tired, and I eventually drifted off to regular sleep. I was awoken by my mom brining my dog into my room around 9:00, and I couldn't for the life of me remember the dream I just had, but I still remembered the one from before my alarm.
So to summarize: I failed hahaha

I didn't quite have a plan for the last attempt, but plan your work and work your plan right?

      July 27
      Sleep time: 11:30
      Alarm: 5:45
      Planned Procedure:
Get up, move around, maybe getting water, using the bathroom etc. There's plenty of light in my room at 5:45, so instead of jotting down notes from my dream, I'll write it out as I would on a lazy morning. This will keep me up longer, so hopefully I wont fall asleep so easily. I'll try not to stay up past the point where the sun rises above the next house (~6:30), because then going back to sleep is much harder.

      In reality...

      Sleep Time: 1:00 (Woops)
      Alarm: 5:45
      Procedure:
Woops! I stayed up way to late, when I woke up, I was so tired. I got out of bed started writing my dream. Realizing I was falling asleep, I got out and got water. As soon as I returned to my bed i was out like a light... I did have an extremely vivid (and quite funny) dream tho! About Christmas tree's on unicycles and and "HD Wii" the size of a computer rack.

Aww, hopefully next time you won't be woken up or won't be so tired.

BTW, I never have trouble sleeping on my left side.

Humm guess i just have a thin chest or something... haha idk it bothers me, but I'm very comfortable on my right side so I stick there.

      July 29
      Planned Procedure:
Nothing tonight! Instead i'll try a midday nap, since I think I'll have time tomorrow for that! I'll wake up nice and early (seeing as I'm going to sleep late) and be relatively tired. I heard its best after lunch, so I'll try then! The last time I tried a nap WILD, I experienced some hallucinations, but those excited me enough to wake me up.
So far I've learned: Too tired for WBTB attempt, too awake for a nap. So lets try being tired for a nap! (makes sense right?) I also plan on getting out of this 1-12 sleep pattern! That's just crazy.

Well, stick to what you're comfortable with. No sense in trying to WILD in a position you can't relax or sleep in.

If you can nap, then WILDing during your naps is definitely the way to go. (Some people, like me, just can't nap during the day, which is tragic.) Good luck!
