Hi. Well here it is! My workbook!

I liked very much the first class and I hope to learn much more! Now last night (class night) I didnt recall any dream due to stress during the day and night :S and it kinda sucks.. But I will post my dreams from the other night ( just to write something Now just dont be scared. Im not english and Im 16 so I will try my best so you can understand them...

Dream 1) "Pursuit"

It was initially a 3rd person dream. Jesus was "attached" to a pillar in a castle and there was lava ascending. Then with a milacre he started to climb the pilar and he escaped (lol fail explanation, just cant describe it), then he says something... Now he was in a gymnasium with some black guys. They started to escape the police (GTA? I dont play it since ages...). There was a car waitting for them. They entered it and then a car pursuit began. The police car lost track of them and then a car locator service became available. The police was an old lady in a dress lol. She activated it and then she discovered them. They were in a restaurant. Then I cant remember more, I can only remember that there were some 8 guys in the fleeing car.

Dream 2) "School start"

Me and my sister were preparing ourselves for the school start. She was already outside with my dad and I was still on a laptop, playing a game. Then I prepared the things very quickly and went outside. I saw that near our house my philosophy teacher was building a house for him. He was wearing a pink polo and jeans (typical clothes). The house wasnt finished, there were some walls still incomplete. And I could see a construction machine behind it. Then our neighboor, Rita, she has like 12 years and she had an Iphone on her hand. She said something and then we went to our car. Then I remember that we went to a small shopping (cant remember the name.. galleries?) and I saw a friend of mine then the music "Chariots of fire" and we gave a hi five in slow motion (kinda funny). We headed to a restaurant. My dad chose a grilled octopus (dont know if thats correct in english ) and I think I chose a steak. A waiter said that a lady asked for a steak and didnt show up...

Dream 3) "secret mission"

I was in an office with a man and with a woman. Then I received a call to tell me to grab some plans and to go to a car that was in the garage. It was just next to the office. I entered the car, there were some guys in it also. Then I started to drive the car in 3rd person (like GTA). One gave me money to pay the exit, but I just passed it. Then police started to show up. We exited the car, I had a shotgun and there was a crosshair lol. Started to show up even more and I escaped to another garage. There was a guy waiting for me. I gave him the stuff he needed. Then I see my sister with her swimsuit on and with glasses. She looked back and then when she looked at me, she had an octopus in her mouth (lol wtf). She spit it up and then I dont remember anything.

Dream 4) "One more dream in a shopping yay"

I think I was first in a library looking for ETWOLD, but they didnt had, they had another 10 books related to it, but I didnt want it (logic fail). Then I entered a supermarket. I saw a neighbour of mine and a band friend who plays the saxophone too. I wanted to say hi and then I realize that he was a girl lol. I walked through a corridor and on the middle of it I realized that I didnt have my shirt on (I wasnt wearing it on real life too) and I quickly woke up...

Go through your dream journal and analyse where the content of your dreams comes from. Is it mostly day residue? Do you notice a lot of false memories or faulty logic in them?

My dreams are about aprox. 30% day residue. I notice some false memories on them and a lot of faulty logic in them. I only seem to have day residue on a marking day, but I dont have a lot.

The dreams I posted were 50% faulty logic and 50% false memories, because I went to a shopping that day to go to the cinema, ordered ETWOLD and studied a little to prepare for school..

I see that in my dream my friends seem to show up often and same happens to shopping malls (I dont like them very much..).

No worries on the english

Sometimes I have really terrible recall too, when I'm stressed (like the past few days!).

Okay my recall is coming back but still incomplete...

Dream 1) "Lucid publicity"

This was a 3rd person dream. It was about a surgery that would you make more lucid in your dreams lol.

Dream 2) "One more school dream"

I dont remember much. I was in my school, talking to a friend about that day's classes, we said that it was a boring day, the first class was Math. Then I remember that I was on the 2nd floor looking for my room, but I discovered that it was on the first floor. When I was looking for it I found my french teacher that said me something... When I left the school I was outside of a school when I was young (about 9 years old). I saw my dad outside talking and walking to a friend of mine.

Then I dont know if it was another dream, but lets say that its the same despite of not being the same schema.

Then I dropped my backpack on the floor near to a bench. I had my tenor saxophone case in my other hand so I opened it and I grabbed the sax. Then I saw some jazz bar or jazz clubl and I went there. I saw a man and a woman there. The man had dark hair and the woman had blonde hair. The woman seemed to be from eastern europe. Then she said to me that the sax needed to be cleaned up inside, and she gave me something to clean it. When I finished I remembered that I had my case outside and I went outside to grab it. When I entered the club wih it I saw that inside it, it had in that moment an alto saxophone. The man asked me where did it was suited for. I said that it was suited for melody and the tenor was more for jazz. In that moment, the woman showed up with a saxophone, and she sarted to play it. I dont remember the music but I remembered that it was very cool.

They were totally faulty logic.

I saw your other posts in my colleagues' books and Im too trying to WILD. My best result was falling asleep in a WILD and waking up when the SP kicked in, but I didnt remember a lot from the lucid, I would say that it was a 2/5 lucid... But I am trying to DEILD too! I seem to wake very much from te alarm, I need a new one and patience to tweak it. But there is something funny happening. 2 nights ago and in tha last night I woke up in the middle of the night and I was trying to sleep and then SP kicks in! Its very weird and nice the same time! But I dont seem to enter it correctly or entering to a lucid. The best SP of these 2 nights was when I felt that I was laying from my back, but I was laying by side, but it disappeared. Any tips to "catch" it?

I read this guide and found it very useful, like you I experienced SP (fairly easy) on my first couple of WILD attempts. However when I didn't experience it for the next couple of days it frustrated the hell out of me, and SP is not a guaranteed LD, which is what you are after in the end. What I noticed was that I was getting too caught up in trying to reach SP, trying to make every muscle relax (as opposed to my body as a whole) not reaching the actual lucid dream.

What changed for me was when I wasn't trying for SP but going to sleep, as is also emphasised in the guide. I had my second WILD yesterday (well, early this morning more like it) and I think I only noticed SP when I was actually in the dream. In the begining the dream was very unstable and I felt a buzzing sensation in my body, which I remembered from SP, and it took a lot of stabilisation techniques. Eventually the SP "feel" disappeared and the dream was more stable.

2 nights ago and in tha last night I woke up in the middle of the night and I was trying to sleep and then SP kicks in! Its very weird and nice the same time! The fact that you know how SP feels is superb, that means you have a level of awareness you can use to determine if you have had a false awekening (IE dreaming ^^), but trying to "catch" it should only be a secondary focus I think.

Now bear in mind I am noway of an expert on the matter so you should read the guide, written by an author much MUCH more competent than I. The reason I reply is that your mindset seems very much like the one I had regarding "chasing" SP, which led to me being frustrated, loosing sleep and even my non-lucids were short and blurry. Maybe you can skip this step all together ^^.

Trust in your awareness, you will recognise SP when it comes, after all SP is an indicator that you are on the right track, not the end goal, when I got that in my head and focussed on falling asleep I had my second WILD . Oh and I know the excact feeling regarding SP, it is sort of weird, but nice ^^

Thanks but Portuguese is soo damn hard compared to english, that's not even comparable! I have better grades in english than in portuguese! lol

Me too! (replacing "Portuguese" with "Spanish")

Its similar, but the writting seems soo much more difficult!

Had a court to go today, so I almost didnt sleep.. And for amusement I found that it got delayed! Still Recalled 2 dreams, not bad.

Dream 1) "Jackass"

A 3rd person dream about a movie "Jackass"! The weather was great, only a few small clouds. It was about an old lady with a hat was driving a white cabriole (is that correct? It didnt have a "roof") buggy by some roads that had a very high fall on its left. She was a danger in the road! She was yelling at people (called one Jackass lol). Then in a turn it appeared a large truck. She had to turn left and she pratically fell of the cliff. Luckily the car got stuck on some plants lol. When I see the old lady, she was now a "he", yes she was now an old guy. He fell on a rock (there was a beach down there), surprisingly he wasnt smashed. Then a couple showed up talking to each other. They werent interested on the old guy that was lying next to them. By a milacre the old guy stands up and says something. The lady (of the couple) said to her husband not to buy second hand phones because she was hearing voices wtf.

Dream 2) Exterminator (fail title)

I was in a apartment. The floor was brown I remember. My mother was with me and she gave me a phone to my hand. She said that it was already calling, and that she wanted me to say that there were bugs in the apartment. Then she started to make noises with her feet on the floor, imitating bugs crawling. I dont remember the chat but in the end the guy told me that he was a massager! I was like WTF?! Then I told me that was another person that passed me the phone and that I was sorry for the incovenience lol

On the first dream the only day residue it had was the title. But I only saw the trailer 3 days ago! And the rest was completely faulty logic

Assignment: Go through your dream journal and see if you can notice any reoccurring signs that are popping up. Make a list!

The things that seem to pop up sometimes are the following:

1- Shopping malls (always with my friends and only once with my dad)
2- Friends (some old friends and some new)
3- I had some dreams where I was on a hotel, big ones.
4- I notice that my dad starts showing up more, since I dont see him since 3 weeks ago...

Still none of them made me lucid. My only dream sign I saw that my was dog cloned! And the rest were just sudden (*nose pinch* "Im dreaming!!")...

21/08/2010 That day I only recalled a dream..

Dream 1) "Bus trip"

I was in a Shopping centre (yes another one ) sat on a table with my dad and sister. I think that I was lucid (kinda 2/5) because I was trying to spawn actresses on the seat in front of me Then I lost it very quickly and my dad told us that we had some time until we have to go away. My dad went to a store and my sister and I went outside and we sat on a bench. Then some guys I know from my school appeared in front of us and I said hey to them. They told me that they were going to a village that we had to go too. They were taking a bus and my sister and I went with them. When we arrived we werent properly in the village, we stopped near a house of one of them. But we were near because we could see its monument
Then we searched a road to get there but we somehow ended on somekind of a small shopping. Then I asked my sister her phone to call my dad. Then I think it ended.


Ok the shopping is really my nº1 dream sign! But I dont seem to go there very often.

Have you thought about incubating it as a dream, and remembering to RC when you see it?

Nice idea! thanks! Now I have a problem... I dont understand dream incubation very much.. Do you have to only visualize your scenario (5 senses if possible)? Or do you have to do more things?

Now I have another prob... I dont seem to have the time for writting here my dreams, so I will say that I had in the last 3 days 3 dreams about call of duty, a very low lucid (a 3rd person dream where a man already knew that he was dreaming, but it was very short), a dream envolving my dad and friends and my first dream with celebrities.

Guys sorry for not posting here my DJ, because im not having the time to do it... So I will grab the logs!

Assignment 3:
Review your current sleep schedule. Taking what you know about DILDs and WILDs, which technique would best work for you for inducing lucid dreams?
Bonus: Knowing this, you may want to look into signing up for that specific course when it’s offered next.

All/most of my LDs came for DILD, so it must be he best one. But still want to achieve a successfull WILD, just because of its vividness and control. And also because its challenging

Assignment: Think of 2-3 goals that you would like to accomplish. They could be anything! If you need some inspiration, check out some tasks from the Task of the Month forum. How would you attempt each goal?

Goal 1: Fly for a long time (I only flown 4 seconds in my last LD :S)

Goal 2: Jump into a PC game (Primary: Assassins creed)

Goal 3: Hmm DC massacre? (If I turn lucid in a shopping centre. If I turn lucid there, they are going to pay for having so much dreams about it! muahah)
