Thread: Star Wars Episode III

Well, i kinda agree with you about any new movies not being as great as the originals they are very dear to our heart and introduced a lot of people to George's fantastic vision...the actors gave a lot of soul to their performances, the epic conflict between a father and son, the son's desire to help his father back to the path of goodness i believe these things we can all have an idea of what must've be going on inside Luke and Darth in those movies..that internal struggle..

Luke:" He's evil i gotta kill him..but arrrgggh he's my dad..but he's evil..oh the conflict."
Darth: "The emperor is my boss..but he's killing my son...whom do i owe loyalty to..?
emperor, son..emperor..son....emper...arrgh frig it....ill throw him over the balcony and face the consequences later...

However in Episode 3 it really seemed as though they finally got "something right" all the technology, acting, story..all of it culminated into a brilliant experience in the art form, we saw what George saw, we felt what the Jedi felt, ..perhaps for the first time in the Prequel trilogy..we connected with Anakin (he needed a more evil voice though,,darn...what? its how i feel ok? bite me.)..

The question is where would he go from there if he were to make a 7-9..would it simply be a rehashing of the Good vs.Evil scenario?..Does the Emperor somehow return..perhaps transferring consciousness to another body? What becomes of Luke does he rebuild the Jedi order? Does he take the path to the Dark side..or perhaps one of his children do? Leia, what of her and Han?
Do the machines start a new war with humans in Zion, will Neo return again to the Matrix?..oh uhm sorry ..thats the Matrix -Starwars crossover series im thinking about...my bad..lol...

Honestly , i would love to see more episodes in the saga, combining the technological advances developed in Eps1-3 with the story line/character development in Eps 4-6 and the universe would never be the same again..Eps3 gave us a glimpse at what that couild be like..all i can say is ...whoooooooa x infinity.

Well, I watched the movie, and it was cooler than all of the newer Starwars movies. Samuel L Jackson was a cool character, but he was too cool to be a Jedi Master.....I mean...He belongs in those "Pulp Fiction" type movies....But I was horrified when Anakin killed the children but I knew it had to be done, so I loved the movie.

There's actually tons of books and comics that detail the events that happen after the originally trilogy. Dark Empire in particular deals with the Emperor trying to return, and Leia's child, etc. But that's just on example out of hundreds.

Personally, I think Lucas should look elsewhere in his timeline for some storyline. Such as the Knights of the Old Republic Era, for example, where Sith and Jedi were large in number on each side, and not just one group attempting to undermine the other. Unless he's forgotten how to create characters, I don't think it's too hard for Lucas to make memorable personalities and figures in a different time period. The evil jedi and sith in periods, by themselves, make good plot devices, such as Exar Kun and Freddon Nadd.

I agree, that'd be way awesome. I also wish they'd go back to the old starfighter video games...I hate the new ones, but the old ones (X-Wing vs. Tie Fighter, etc) were awesome. Back then you actually had to use more than four keys, and there were some tactics involved. WAY fun.

Have u tried Star Wars Legos for X-box though??? THAT GAME IS AMAZING!!! everyone is all in lego form & u can keep switching urself...& Yoda's li'll chair....& oh man oh man!!! that game is so cool! pluss they not only cover the new ones they r gonna make a second one that go into the old (much more awesome (HAN SOLO!!!) ) ones, & they have every character! Pluss General Greivece is so much fun 2 be w/all that 4 lightsaber action!! *tear* oh so good!!!
