So, which character do you want in SSBR? Earlier, I chose Lyn, b/c she is swift, kicks butt if she scores a direct hit, & is the only FE character to use the bow!

I can school you with any character, Jigglypuff, if need be.

I'm definatly interested to see who they add, but all I'm really worried about is that Peach is still as awsome as in SSBM. Because if she sucks in the next one... Well... I might just have to quit SSB... On a related note, I can't wait for Super Princess Peach for DS.

I hope you know that actually Lanky & Chunky belong to Xbox now.. There are many characters that were once w/Nintendo that are now w/Xbox, or they are partnered up w/both companies (The only ones I can think of that are kind of in between companies are Dixie Kong, Diddy Kong, Kiddy Kong, Fox, Krystal, Falsco, Slippy). The following characters are believed to now belong to Xbox, & will not likely be in the next Super Smash Brothers:
~Banjo-Kazooie
~Tiny Kong
~Lanky Kong
~Chunky Kong
~Taj (From DKR)
~Conker
~Any other DKR related character besides Diddy Kong
~any 007 game

So count on these characters never being in any Nintendo game again, pretty much....look forward to them on Xbox instead!!

Ok first of all i dont know if you know this but the only characters that appear on super smash bros. are nintendo ONLY owner characters. That means characters like sonic , tails, 007, pacman, and any other game that apears on all the other systems will not be on the smash bros. game because then it wouldnt be a Nintendo Game. Also some games appear only on gamecube but that doesnt make them a Nintendo OWNED game. Second Fox, Crystal and all other star fox characters are on NINTENDO ONLY! And That Goes For All The KONGS to. But im not actualy sure about Banjo Kazooie...im pretty sure its still an nintendo game. And thats all i have to say. Thanks

Just becausea character does not have a full nintendo background shouldent mean they are unable to compete. Why does Nintendo have to be such a racist, and no Banjo-Kazooie arnt nintendo games anymore

they are not being racist they would just have to pay more money to have sonic or any other character in the game and then it would have to have a sega logo and then heck why not release it for every system...that would be pointless and they would lose money.

I wish the companies could nagoshiate some how.

I almost forgot to nominate my favorite nintendo character "Freak Mario" (from the glitch in Mario 64) He would kick all those Xbox characters butts anyway.

I am reviving this topic, because I found a place where you can actually submit which character you want, provideth you know Japanese/Google language tool bar. Click on the bottom button with the arrow. Do bear in mind that you have to put the character you want in Japanese as well, and why you want him/her (ex: Japanese name for Lyn is Lin, and Jigglypuff is Purin). Anyways, if you would really like to know, I found out who is going to be in the new SSB, and who probably isn't (unfortunately, they are taking out some of the old characters as well, according to the rumors on the official website).

What I mean is that Peach could appear, but right now, it isn't guarenteed. If characters are in Limbo, they haven't been announced of whether they will make the game or not.
I looked up information, and the guy in charge said he was going to get rid of the clones (Dr. Mario, Pichu, Ganon, Roy, Young Link).

I am not really too happy about Pichu being removed (I kicked butt the most with Pichu), but if Lyn makes it, it will make up for it!

I would vote for Wario and Toad. Toad because he is my man in Mario Kart 64, and well...I would like to see Wario bombs and his big gigantic butt slide. And who doesn't like that crazy moustache and evil laugh?

Edit: I forgot to add, Pikachu is my main guy in the original, and Fox was usually my alternate. I like the light fast people.

Toad: Highly doubt it, but he still has maybe a 30% chance of appearance.

Wario: He is appearing, but he is not the same Wario you know and love. He is that one from Wario Ware, and he has new attacks for his heavy size. One of them is one I think you might laugh about, but it is kind of nasty, too. The name of his attack is Wario Waft, and is known in Japan as the Atomic Fart.

Think Lyn has a good chance of appearance? I don't know, but at this point I doubt it, since the Japanese would rather have Ike and Nino, and Nintendo really hasn't paid much attention to the US about it.

If you don't understand, the creator said he was going to remove some of the characters, and as far as I know, it is only going to be the clones. Pikachu (the Pikachu from Pokemon Rev Battle), Mario (The mario from Super Mario Galaxy), Link (from Twilight Princess), Samus (I think she is the one from Metroid Prime), and Kirby (dunno where this Kirby came from) are the only old characters being confirmed, and Pit, Zero-suit Samus, Wario, Snake, and Meta Knight are the only new characters that have been confirmed. They haven't confirmed whether any new characters will appear or not, and many of the characters from SSBM haven't been confirmed, but it is unknown whether they will appear or not. Peach is one of them, as is Yoshi. It doesn't mean the characters are out just yet.
And hey, I will have to think of a new main character more likely than you will, since my main character is Pichu (it is the fastest character in the game, and I can kick butt hard and fast with it's Volt Tackle), and Pichu is going to be out due to it being a faster and lighter clone of Pikachu. Maybe we could do that together. Pit certainly looks a lot of fun to play.
And really, Forde probably will not appear. Well, it is mostly the main characters from Fire Emblem's 1, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 that will appear, like Ike, Hector, Eirika, Roy, Marth, and Lyn, however, it is highly possible that maybe he could appear as a trophy if he is really that popular. That'd mean a new avie for you. The 2 of the ones I have named that are most likely to appear are Marth and Ike (Roy is out, because he is a clone).

With the capabilities of the Wii/Revolution, I think it should have all these characters and more.

Also, I'd like to see Waluigi.

Iron knuckle. If that was a playable character, that would rock, but it'll never happen.

As long as I'm wishful thinking, Cloud would be awesome, but he came in the later Final fantasies.

I'd choose Meta knight if he weren't already coming, same with Wario.

God, I want Toad, because I would beat the crap out of him daily. He screams so well. I know because sending a pink shell up his tailpipe in Mario Kart 64 made my day all the time. I went out of my way to kick him into a wall.

Here, I will put the reasons why I want Fire Emblem Lyn in it, besides the fact that she is my #1 Nintendo character:
1) She was the first Noble in Fire Emblem to appear in the United States
2) SSBB doesn't have enough female characters (only 2 have been confirmed, with both of them being Samus).
3) She would be a lightweight character and very fast.
4) She can use the bows and the Mani Katti sword
5) Many boys think she is hot.

Yeah, but this is the part that I couldn't find where you got the information from.

As for the huge character select thing, it's cool, but I don't think I'd want a lot of those characters in it. As much as I like my Starwars, I don't think Luke and Vader would really fit into SSBB. However, I'd love to see them make that many playable 1st party characters.
