I don't care what anybody says.... (And no, I am not playing a joke.) Days of Our Lives is the trippiest show on television. I'm completely serious. When the romance is successfully going well for two people, which is rare and always short lived, it is absolutely disgusting. However, most of the show is about psychopaths plotting to destroy each other's lives, and practically all of the characters are psychopaths.

On top of that, all of the characters look like models, making the scenario even more absurd. Some of the actors can't act, but they mix their bad acting into hardcore dramatics in the midst of outrageous tragedy. Furthermore, the show does crazy stuff like show scenes a second time, but the words are slightly different. And the police commissioner's name is Commissioner Gordon, like the one on Batman. What the show does best is make it constantly look like something insane is about to happen, so you are always very curious about what is going to happen next. All of this together makes for a really trippy show. But be careful... It is very addictive. There are plenty of people out there who have not missed an episode since the 60's. It is the only soap opera I like.

But my favorite modern T.V. show is South Park. I also love to watch the History Channel. The news channels were great when they talked mostly about major world affairs instead of picking out one murder out of millions and talkling about it like it's the biggest deal on Earth right now. We're still at war, so they need to shut up about the damn Lacy Peterson stuff. I hope Lacy rests in peace, but that was not a major world event. VH1 is amusing, but only because it is so ridiculous. It started out as a music station, but it became a hollywood gossip channel. It is all about celebrities and not quite celebrities commenting on the social images of celebrities. I will stop watching it when somebody finally comments on somebody's actual musical quality or acting ability. Until then, I will just be amused by shallow gossip and talk of what musicians look like on stage and what the completely talentless Paris Hilton looks like on the red carpet. T.V. Land has a lot of good shows from way back. I wish they would start showing Monty Python's Flying Circus, the funniest show in history.

      FIREFLY!!!!!!!!&#3 3;!!!!!

      it is absolutely brilliant...

when you like drama, romance, comedy, action, western, sci-fi, and adventure...

      you'll love this...

they've put these genres in a blender and made a tv series about daily life in space in the future, and tell the story about nine persons in a spaceship, trying to stay alive, and get by. Imagine all of this with a western flavour, and you've got Firefly.

FOX got it off the air, for whatever reason, and they've cancelled the serie... which i find truly an insane thing to do.

NEVER in my life have i been so enthousiastic about a tv series, this must be one of the best sci-fi series ever, and I even find it to be more realistic than others (if only for the fact that the space-scenes are entirely silent (since sound doesn't carry in "the black")). It has the greatest acting... there are no bad acting-moments... It has a unique camera work (for example: when they zoom in to something, the camera will blur a bit, making it extra-realistic. another example: the camera sometimes is a bit "shaky" or "wobbly", making it feel like you're really there... it really is unique), and it has great music, which really fits, and finishes the series.

Oh! and the intro-music is really addicting... i just have to sing along (or i try to "sing" anyway)...

      in short:

GO SEE/BORROW/RENT/*cough*download*cough* it... for this is, and will probably be, despite it's doom brought about by the critics, one of the best series i have, and will, ever see.

      this is an absolute masterpiece

Does The Daily Show with Jon Stewart count?

if not Arrested Development, I love the format. Except sometimes I hate how that guys family is so selfish...but it's really funny most of the time.

Currently practicing WILD. I quote Kaniaz who said it best: "The point of WILD is to piss me off". Though, I have not given up, far from it.
