I am ordering this movie thorugh Amazon, but it will take some time to get it. I am interested in knowing if anyone here has screen captures of frames with Red XIII (Nanaki). I am trying to see if he is tattooed on both sides, and to get a better visual, because I call upon him in my dreams as well.

Do yourself a favour, watch it in Japanese with translated subs, the English acting is horrible.

so does the dvd have it in both jap and english or just jap with english subs

I just got the DVD and the dialog is all in English - but you can tell their mouths were moving to Japanese. But it's not too bad - pretty much the same as the FFX game. I haven't watched the whole movie yet (just skimmed through it), but I don't think the audio acting was too bad. Visually, it's awesome! I can't wait to watch the whole thing!

It says on the box here that the languages are Japanese and English, so you'd asume that it would be. Hell, in most of the reviews they commented on how it was nice to watch it in Japanese. Oh well, FFVII:DoC might have been bearable if they'd have given Vincent a good voice, instead he's like an introspective cowboy who puts all his emotion into the wrong lines.

Well, I watched the movie last night and it was good! The visual effects were stunning. Is it wrong to think Sephiroth is a little sexy...?

I'll probably watch it tomorrow. I bought it yesterday but if I turn it on I know I'll never get my homework done. I'll let you know what I think of it. However, I'm taking the advice already given and I'm planning on watching it in Japanese with the English subtitles.

Just got the Eng dubbed version on my comp. I guess it's not too bad. I've heard much worse..but the voices are still kinda cheesy.

My copy of the movie won't play the Japanese voices... Does anyone have a sound byte of Sephiroth's Japanese voice? I'm dying to hear it since everyone keeps saying how kick ass it is.

Sephiroth's voice (Kingdom Hearts 2 clip). No spoilers so if you want to hear his seiyuu, listen to that piece of sexiness. I could listen to that guy talk all day. Hotness. (And it's an extra cool bonus to hear Donald and Goofy speak Japanese )

I received the movie and was able to watch it last night. I agree with Lost Soul in that Sephiroth had a superb Japanese voice. While I wouldn't use sexy, I would say more like eerie/haunting in a good way. I got the movie mainly for the views of Red XIII, my favorite character. I got quite a few screenshots of the movie as a whole. Cloud kicked serious ass in the film, and the last shot of him with music and such brought tears to my eyes: [Spoiler Alert]: Off-Topic: Last night I had some hypnogogic imagery of Red XIII riding a unicycle and juggling some things. It was awesome! The visuals are so awesome I didn't even notice the lip syncing, although upon further inspection it is off a bit. Who cares, it's an incredible move. It was done so perfectly. My gf is in love with Sephiroth, I'm jeolous The DVD has the option to play in Japanese and with English subtitles, but I'm pretty certain there's subtitles for other languages as well. I dunno
