i didn't want to waste any of my "wit" reserves on someone who would admit to having watched (let alone, enjoyed) ninja scroll. that being said... i'm going to ignore your next joust tiger and just say this... if you want to see what a kung fu movie is (pre jackie chan) rent any of the street fighter or any of the shogun assassin films. matrix is crap. *kisses* |

I'm quite fond of Hero, Jet Li's Fearless, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Black Mask myself. Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story was good as well, though in a different way. Big Trouble in Little China is, of course, a classic, and, dare I say it, I think the Matrix trilogy has some darned good fight scenes. The CGI didn't work so well in Reloaded, but ah, well. They should've used ILM, is all I can say. Also, some of Jackie Chan's earlier work isn't bad at all. |
