Played it for half a year. Bought an Echo 1 G36C with awesome FPS. Then I got tired of being pressured to out to games all the time, sold the gun and quit. |

Yes
No
Have to try it
Anybody play it? I have a collection of at least 16 guns (2 broken). If you don't know what it is, there is a huge article about it on Wikipedia. Trust me, it is a good sport. |

Airsoft is a pansy man's paintball. |

I don't like it at all. All my friends would abuse the privilege of having one, and I have had to take it from them a number of times and unload the cartridge on their asses or even break the gun itself. |
|
Paintball is far more extreme though. It feels like you're really getting shot at and the pain is far more intense. |
|
Surrender your flesh. We demand it.
I have bled while playing paint ball. The blood just squirts out! Thats why I stopped, it was a bit terrifying looking at you're finger which was squirting blood and you can't even bend it normally because its bruised like a prune. |
|
Nope, never heard of it. It's probably for idiots. |
|
Lol... reading this makes me think you never played airsoft, or got fed lies about it. |
|
No. No sir. I've gotten shot point blank with both a paintball gun and an airsoft gun. |

I pressed a FAMAS against my hand when I was younger (500 fps, upgraded gearbox), bled for 3 hours. Then I shot my wall, pellet is stuck in the wall to this day. |

I believe you skimmed over the "all in all pain factor is determined by the gun" factor in my post. |

That is true. Sometimes (not meaning anybody here), fanboys point out what is NOT true and repreat it. Like on the F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin forums, there is someone named }_50Ɔ{_|ñeا who argues every thread (and post) and backs up his opinions by just rephrasing or restating exactly what he just said. He backs up his arguement with only his opinion, no factual evidence or trying to put things out of context. |

No, the remaining charge in the batter only affects rate of fire, not velocity. Since electric guns are essentially automatic spring guns, and since the spring will be just as compressed at half charge as it is at full, velocity won't be affected. |

I'm using LPEGs for most of them, and in them a weaker battery cocks the gears less. (This only happens at like 10% charge.) |

I don't know much about LPEG's, but I should think that still could only be caused by skipped teeth. Any other electric gun which has a charge too low to power the motor enough to fully cock the piston simply won't be able to complete a firing cycle and just won't fire at all. It'd stop mid-cock and simply roll backwards to uncocked when you let go of the trigger. I guess that rolling back might cause enough compression to fire at a weaker velocity, but as long as the gun is cycling properly, even at low power, muzzle velocity shouldn't change. |

It could also be a power conservation and lifetime feature. |

I might even be inclined to believe that were we not talking about LPEG's. |

Ordered from an LPEG section. |
