Thread: Xbox won't play games

This is weird...

I got my Xbox 360 turned into microsoft for some fixing because I had the red ring of death. I got it back and went back to playing games happily. A couple of weeks later, it started to not work right. It would take like 10 tries just to play a game.

At first I thought it was the CD I was trying to play, but it wasn't. I've cleaned CDs many many times and they would still have troubles playing.

Now my 360 won't play games or anything at all that I try to put into it. (except for downloaded games).

I don't know what to do. Should I call mircosoft back up and ask them whats wrong or what?

But I think I figured out what was wrong...I think the thing that makes the CDs spin is broken. I guess I'll have to take it back again...unless someone has a suggestion for fixing it?

When I put in a CD, it makes that spinning noise as if it's trying to read the CD, and it is trying to read it, but then it stops. I've noticed that the CD is actually in a different position when I take it out, so I know that it has to be spinning the CDs.
