Haha, the movie does that have superficial teenage vibe to it (that's what I thought when I saw the trailer), but I saw it the other day, I thought it was all right for what it's worth. Manages to even be a little inspirational.

Zack and Miri Make a Porno - I'm really a huge Kevin Smith fan. The guy is a genius. The film was a little bit different from his usual flicks. Although I liked it, I couldn't say I got the same taste.

Zack And Miri was so god damn funny. I saw it with my parents and got a tad uncomfortable being around them while watching this kinda movie.

But it had to be the funniest movie I've seen in the past couple of years.

Movies will never be the same after this one (you know which scene I'm talking about)

negative, the one where the chick accidentally shits all over the camera man's face when that guy suddenly pulls his cock out of her.

      Battle in Seattle
      8.5/10

Thousands of activists arrive in Seattle, Washington in masses to protest the WTO Ministerial Conference of 1999 (World Trade Organization). The movie takes an in-depth look at characters during those five days in 1999 as demonstrators protested the meeting of the WTO in Seattle's streets. Although it began as a peaceful protest with a goal of stopping the WTO talks, it escalated into a full-scale riot and eventually, a State of Emergency that pitted protesters against the Seattle Police Department and the National Guard.
Very well done, makes me want to take part in a motherfucker of a protest.
It's also reignited my hatred of the WTO. So that's good.
I think this is gonna be added to my "favorite movies" list.

God damn I loved Battle in Seattle.

Anyway, I watched The Wackness last night. Seeing Josh Peck prematurely ejaculate was the single most greatest moment in my life.

      The Doors - A classic
The Good Night - I really liked it a lot. It deals with dream/reality quite well although in a little bit superficially way.

The Dark Knight... and yes I would recommend it. (I would sggest sitting somewhat close to a flatscreen TV or monitor, you really lose a lot if it's not encompassing much of your view)

Tekkon Kinkreet (I think I spelled that right). A friend recommended it and I thought it was good. Weird... but good. I wouldn't recommend watching it while tired, though. Interesting story, but a number of "huh?" moments. I probably won't be purchasing it, but I'm glad I saw it.

My dad sat down and watched about 50 minutes of it with me before he left. He didn't say anything, so I'm pretty sure it's just not his cup of tea... and I don't blame him. I'm just accustomed to the fact that the Japanese are weird! Good... but weird.
