If he does not respond untill tomorrow, i'll have goosebumps! it will be a MUST WATCH for sure, the suspense is already eating at me...

I liked it, loved the setting, it was odd for sure though....

I read the book about a week or two ago and loved it, so I watched the movie with my hubby tonight. It was VERY good. Definately a must see.

Oh man! So I saw the movie and I was blown away! Such a great ending!

For those of you who have both read the book and watched the movie, what did you think of the different endings?

Spoiler for Differences in endings:

In the book it ended with "Teddy" talking to "Chuck", and Chuck shook his head indicating the treatment didn't stick and they'd have to lobotomise him.

In the movie, "Teddy" asked something along the lines of: 'I sometimes wonder which would be better... living as a monster or dying as a hero'

I LOVED that about the movie. To ME (though hubby disagrees) the movie SUGGESTS that Teddy knew completely that he was actually Andrew but he couldn't live a sane life, indicating he CHOSE to be "killed" rather than know the truth.
The book simply leads one to believe the treatment didn't work so the Doctors did what they felt they had to.

That one thing made ALL the difference in the world to me lol

Absolutely amazing film, Scorsese did an amazing job, as did the writers. Very, very well executed, and Leonardo DiCaprio did amazing too, I was never really a big fan before, but he played the role perfectly.

Best thing I've seen in quite awhile, I liked it even more than Avatar.

i liked this movie a lot.
i saw it when it came out opening night, and i still can't get it out of my head.

i honestly wasn't sure what to think of it at first, but then i just couldn't stop thinking about it.

it's been like, two weeks.

It was all a bit too 'M.Night Shyamalan' for my tastes.

I was highly impressed with this film. I knew there would be a twist, but it kept me guessing what the twist would be and how it would play out. The dialogue and subtleties were incredibly entertaining. This movie was extremely well directed.

So far, it's my favorite movie of 2010. I found it much more satisfying than Avatar.

This. I never liked Leonardo DiCaprio either, but I agree, he played the role perfectly.

I also agree with Zhaylin. The ending really made me think.
