Which one do you think you are?

I think i'm Ambiverted because i enjoy both extroverted activities and introverted activities

I am very much an introvert. But hasn't there been a thread like this before?

Alot more extroverted, although I like my own time aswell.

But if I had the chance to be around people I could actually gel with, by means of having the same interests and values, I'd definitely be much more of an extrovert. This has happened before, but these people always ended up moving away, etc.

I think for me it's just a matter of environment.

I think this is true for me too. If I'm sitting with a few close friends, in a quiet atmosphere, I can talk all night.

It's a lot easier to open up in those kinds of situations.

Introvert. Being around people in groups is extremely draining.

Meaningless question. Introverts are just people who haven't found other people they can connect with, as Puffin said. I've found myself acting introverted, extroverted, and in between depending on the situation and who I'm with.

There is no doubt that people vary innately in introversion/extroversion. Also, if you look closer at the wikipedia article, you'll see that introverts needs to find the correct people to hang out with, a few close friends, while extroverts like talking to many or most people, and typically have many but less close friends.

I don't agree with that. If your interests are NFL football, you're going to have an easier time finding friends than if your interests are more intellectual. Furthermore, the relationships you get from football will be less deep. However, that says nothing about the person, only that some interests are more suited to finding large numbers of less close friends.

The shallow meaningless chatter of extroverts drains an introvert, who then needs alone time to recharge. Its not so much about what your interests are.
