It is been said that somebody can project himself out of his body.
Not there are two ways to do this.
The first is from the mind.
The second is from the one called plex below the chest.

Traps that can occur.
Somebody should AVOID AT ANY COST any form of projection from the chest.
And that is because the self is not getting extended (or projected) from the body rather than the etheric getting slashed to the area of plexus.This is why people who project them selves from the plexus always have a "gap" in time as the mind is shut down.
Apart from the fact that the plexus is getting a "hole" which is gonna create a potential for a huge problem of vitality in the near future,as the emotional shield of an aura shuts down from the clockwise motion,can also leave the body prone to be exposed literally to anything.
The reason that the etheric is getting slashed when projected is because this process
normally happens when the person dies.

Now it is been said that the true projection happens straight from the mind without any etheric seperation and the self just projects the etheric out of the body,without gaps or errors,or an irregularity of the etheric.

Apart from the fact that when the self is projected from the mind the person can manifest in the matter with the same way that his hands can move something.

That needs a ready mind of course.
