The fourth dimension is the home of the Complex numbers and Fractal geometry. Unlike the other dimensions, the fourth is the real world in which we live. It is the space time continuum of Man and Nature where there is constant change based on feedback. As Mandelbrot recently discovered the fourth dimension includes not only the first three dimensions, but also the gaps or intervals between them, the fractal dimensions.
Howetzer , im interested to see where you found information pertaining to the explaination of that diagram . Im confused what your trying to say with that diagram , you are postulating that along those particular lines are where such things as matter , conciousness , energy and self-organisation are located in space ?
From my limited amount of understanding of fourth dimension theory , a good way to get your head around it is to try and visualise a 4D object . The above diagram looks similar to the permutations of a 4D object viewed from a particular angle . Not sure what your trying to do by correlating things such as consciousness to a diagonal of an object .

By viewing the permutations of the Hypercube , through rotating the cube along the 4th axis you can get some kind of visual representation to 4D objects displayed in a 3D representation . I suggest using the stereo method to simulate the hypercube floating in free space , revolving about its 4th axis . To see the object you have to use a cross-eyed method , similar to how u see magic eye pictures . Once you have it in 3D in freespace use the vertical sliders on the left to rotate and observe the permutations , and try to follow in space where each corner is changing to .
I think maybe the permutations of a hypercube is what that diagram you had was trying to show .[/url]
