I'm not outraged about anything. Unless I choose to be. You are a constant source of amusement. And I am outraged you don't know that. With your toy soldiers and such.

Bobby Delaughter has been suspended. Jackson mayor Frank Melton is being investigated for corrupt dealings with Ed Peters. Dickie Scruggs pled guilty to one count of bribing a public official and got a five year prison sentence, so far. AND.... Senators Joe Biden and Fred Thompson, both of whom ran for president this year, are being looked into in regard to corrupt involvement with Dickie Scruggs and his legion of criminals.

These are not big news stories yet, but the word I am getting is that they will be. It looks like there are very powerful Democrates and Republicans working together, and that kind of dangerous combination can apparently do a lot to make the media shut up. The word I am getting is that this big scenario is not going to be a big news story until all of its major players are in prison. Dickie Scruggs is known by the feds as one of the most powerful non-famous people in the country, and Fred Thompson, Trent Lott, and Joe Biden are three of the most powerful people in the country period. It looks like they are doing a lot to keep things quiet. The picture is still a good bit fuzzy, so all I can really tell you now is to stay tuned. It will most likely turn into something enormous.
