Let's just not forget that CO2 is, if it is a cause of global warming, not the only one for sure. I guess that answers your questions. Unfortunately no DVer active nowadays seems to be an ambientalist to tell us what could have happened.

aye, but I belive that was the point of this thread in the first place, that co2 may not be the cause, I guess I worded my question a little badly, cause I know its happening, I just dont think co2 is a root cause of it

relative to the temperature of the earth when it was formed id say we've actually had a global cooling... Think about the big picture...

we dont need help cause the earth is still cooling. One day a super volcano is gonna erupt and cover the earth is toxic gases then the earth will cool like a mofo sending us into an ice age.

If by "cooling" you mean "warming," then yes, yes it is cooling.

Else your logic compares to walking 10 miles East, turning around, walking West, and claiming you're still heading East because it's "East relative to where you started."

well, i heard a comparison once. it said that the earth is like a baby. and the earth has a fever, now with even the slightest fever a baby can die, which is all it take for the earth to end up like venus

maybe humans are the fever of the earth and eventually the earth will cure itself or maybe a meteor or super volcano will do the trick...

yea, we really are the plague of the earth honestly, i hate to think of us that way but we really are a terrible burden on this planet.

The things that worry me about our impact on the earth are these:

Nuclear weapons
Deforestation
Chemical dumping
Oil spills
Poaching
Radioactive waste dumping
General waste


to me these 7 things are about 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000

times more important than buying a hybrid or a solar panel, or reducing any emissions whatsoever

I don't know about you but, If I was observing these things on earth as an alien, I would steer clear away from earth and totally avoid it.
