Yea, everyone seem's to ignore that we were protecting one dictatorship from another, yet to the world we were:

"Protecting Democracy and stopping Communism"

Sorta like how were "Spreading Democracy" today with 1,000 pound bombs and napalm and bullets...I never knew you can bring democracy by killing everything.

Ngo Dinh Diem and his brothers that made up his cabinet modeled their marching style and torture style after Adolf Hitler. They were great admirers of nazi rulership and in fact incorporated many aspects of Hitler's style of rule with the rulership of South Vietnam, or "free Viietnam."

All I'm saying is its no wonder most of the country went communist, people usually only do when they're being oppressed by their current ruler. No wonder they were willing to die by the millions to revolutionize Vietnam. They were the ones fighting for freedom in this case. The United States was on the wrong side. It has nothing to do with Communist or Capitalist, it has to do with fighting for a better life, and that's what the Charlies were doing, even though their replacement was not so much better.

The fact that South Vietnam already had a terrible government was not reason for us to refrain from stopping Soviet expansion. That mission was about as important as stopping the Nazi conquest.

Stopping Soviet Expansion should not be as important to an American as stopping somebody like Diem.

Was Diem trying to take over the world? How far did he get with it?

I think your whole conspiracy theory about Soviet Domination is a little far fetched. I look at reality, most of the time. In reality, this place over here -------> the dictator that desrves to get his ass kicked more is the one doing more atrocious things to people.
