An example of information traveling faster than light...Hrm...Give me a moment, I was hoping I could get away with that one. Maybe I'll try anyways, but it will be hard without going into metaphysics and assumption. I'm going to attempt to think this through...even though it was just a random thing I heard someone else say once, I just decided to throw it in here for kicks. Here it goes...

Well, it seems to me that information travels through consciousness.This information is observed, transmitted and received in any given reality tunnel. Where does the information come from? Everywhere. Consciousness seems to be everywhere as well, penetrating every aspect of reality (The collective mind?); your thoughts, dreams, etc steam from information you receive and absorb on many levels of being(Multi-dimensional existence (I think) is pretty much accepted in quantum physics. [string-theory?]). So information seems to arrive instantaneously (which is faster , but seemingly the same as the speed of light), through consciousness. Once it arrives, your mind makes sense of this information, translating it into electrical signals that your brain can interpret, allowing your body to act accordingly to any given situation.

I tried.. I'm almost positive it isn't a fitting explanation for you, and I'm sure I'm in for a sentence by sentence break down of what I just said. lol.

Its currently being debated, last I heard. A group says they managed to transmit info faster than light using photon tunneling but it hasn't been verified.

They're disputing this, but unless the author over-simplified the process this can't be too hard to do. Why doesn't a reputable scientist just test it out and record all the data?

Not many people have sensors that can read a variation from light speed over a few meters distance.

Ever thought this might be a guy in Google HQ just fucking with all the October 14 nuts?

EDIT: I've watched the video, and the supposed 'proof' in the clouds is actually proof that the cloud patterns are faked. If you look closely at 5:10, it's very obvious that the anomalous clouds have actually been pasted on top of the real clouds. If the anomalous clouds were real, they would not have such glaring discontinuities in shape, brightness, colour, and edges with the older clouds.

Considering it's the 7th, which means the chance of this happening now is pretty slim to nil. October 14th is not October 7th.
