      Contrary to what nay-sayers rant about...there ARE people whose businesses are prospering in the current state of the economy. There are recession proof businesses. Waste Management happens to be one of them. Go become a garbage man/woman.

      No, we just need to make sure that the governemnt has more direct control of the economy.

      It's proven it's efficiency to me so far. Take education, for example.

      You can maintain a capitalist market with just a few regulations to keep things in check, but also give people the option of employment with local governments. People can still have the option of chosing private means, that way the government has to compete to make sure a basic living standard is met.
