Everyone please come back to this thread in ten years and let us know how being reflexively anti-authority, defensive, self-serving, and unreservedly hedonistic worked out for you |

If you have a sense of caring for others, you will manifest a kind of inner strength in spite of your own difficulties and problems. With this strength, your own problems will seem less significant and bothersome to you. By going beyond your own problems and taking care of others, you gain inner strength, self-confidence, courage, and a greater sense of calm.Dalai Lama
I'd say it would work out pretty good. Are you saying that all these incorrect things people have mentioned are correct? |

True, but don't you think words can inflict wounds? I was a very bright, vibrant, active girl when i was in elementary school- but when my parents moved me to another school, I was bullied like hell. It made me weaker, duller, and definitely much more fragile than i was before. I mean, I'm 21, but I'm still not over the bullying I endured then, and I feel like I'm "the way i was supposed to be"- if that makes any sense |
