      Hurricane Season is Approaching

And I am excited. I am excited because it is pretty much guarenteed that a hurricane is going to go over the oil spill and then continue to land.

I know that the XKCD comic was joking about that, but it's probably true. Hurricane season is approaching, and that oil is still there. It's even spreading to the coasts of Florida (Isn't it??). An oil-filled hurricane is pretty much inevitable at this point.
Also, what happens when a group of maniacs start taking lighters and matches to the shorelines?? I doubt that it would be very plausible that they could light the whole spill on fire, but they would probably be able to light enough to cause damage.

I'm excited that these things are possibilities. I'm excited that this could happen.
This is intense. Let's just hope for that hurricane.

My sister is stuck on a cruise ship that can't dock because of the hurricane. I call that karma. I keep telling my sis, who goes on a cruise ship during an oil spill? lol

I think there should be a national operation to provide the people of Florida with a large number of marshmallows and sticks.

I am pretty sure you can't set the oil on fire with a lighter. You need a much bigger and hotter flame to start the fire. A large fire doesn't seem to likely. Unless something weird happens and there is a large explosion. Even then most of the oil is deep underwater out at sea, not on the surface or near land.

So your not going to see waves of fire, and burning balls of oil falling from the sky or anything like that. You may see water washing up oil and making a mess and killing off the plants in the area though.

Of course. But, maniacs are pretty crafty....
I agree that you won't see waves of fire, though. As cool as that would be.

Jesus, I live in Mississippi. If the shit you described happens, my people will come after you for spreading the idea.

Luckily for you, though, your psycho wish cannot come true. The oil is too dispersed.

i love when people attempt to garner attention for being "edgy", by wishing for such things to happen - only to ultimately fail under public realization that said person likely doesn't even live in the region that would be so horribly affected by the events.

Wish for a tornado to strike your own house and leave you homeless and devoid of all personal belongings. THEN you'll be hardcore.

      ...maybe.

Do you think that someone who was going for that would openly admit to anyone (including themselves) that they were going for that?

      Just saying.

And I was never good at homework, so I'm going to turn down the offer to go fishing for your posts. My opinion on your OP is based solely on your OP, as it should be.

Yes. A problem arises, though, when mother nature 'decides' that we are a mess that needs to be cleaned up.

The OP: a misanthropic anthropoid with nothing to say.

I pick up a half-eaten copy of a book by Neil Gaiman, and decide this is all his fault.
