Does anyone know of any good LD movies aside from Waking Life?

'What Dreams may Come(1998)starring Robin Williams was pretty cool.
As for others, off hand I can only remember a few lucid themed scary movies:
      Dreamscape(1984)
      The Cell (2000)
..and all the Nightmare on Elm street movies.

"the good night" with danny devito as a lucid dream teacher. Its an independant film so might be hard to find, but im sure you could download it(legally of course) or buy it online.

The worst mistake you can make is to think you're alive when you're really asleep in lifes waiting room.

paprika is an anime movie about dreaming...

"Three scientists at the Foundation for Psychiatric Research fail to secure a device they've invented, the D.C. Mini, which allows people to record and watch their dreams. A thief uses the device to enter people's minds, when awake, and distract them with their own dreams and those of others. Chaos ensues. The trio - Chiba, Tokita, and Shima - assisted by a police inspector and by a sprite named Paprika must try to identify the thief as they ward off the thief's attacks on their own psyches. Dreams, reality, and the movies merge, while characters question the limits of science and the wisdom of Big Brother."

if this interests you also check out Tekkon Kinreet. Its one of the most beautiful animated movies i have ever seen.

I'm sure there was a thread about this already with a bunch of dream themed movies listed. I'm too lazy to search for it for ya though.

Didn't Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (or whatever that movie was called) have something to do with lucid dreaming?

Ew, I really didn't like Science of Sleep.

      Made dreaming seem unapealing IMO.

Mirror Mask can be considered a lucid dreaming movie.

That film got lucid dreaming so wrong, apparently it was about lucids when the man didn't know he was dreaming until the end

However I saw a film the other day that reminded me so much about lucid dreaming but I can't remember it...I'll write it down when I remember it.

"What dreams may come", While more about the afterlife than lucid dreaming, it is essentially the same thing. I'd watch it for the inspiration if nothing else

Maybe. But it also had a kick-ass sound track .
