Has anyone had this flying experience?

Hi all, Just wonder if anyone else has had a similar experience. I've had many flying dreams (I LOVE flying!) and I've noticed that I’ve gotten better at flying in my dreams throughout the years. When I was a kid, I could barely get off the ground and had to flap my arms really fast to get any levitation. Later, I could glide slowly but didn’t have much control of speed or direction. Even later, I could start to swoop a little and build up a bit of speed and control. Now (years later), in my latest flying dream, I’ve pretty much perfected it; I can fly very fast, I can swoop down just missing the ground, and I amaze people in my dreams with my flying. I even taught others to fly in the last one. Now, I wasn’t lucid in those dreams, I'm quite sure; I don’t recall ever knowing I was dreaming and didn’t know much about LDing (I’m a newbie at it). But has anyone else experienced something like this where over the years, you get better and better at flying (or any skill) in your dreams? Just curious. And I’m talking around 20 years of having these flying dreams. Thnx! Oops, forgot to ask this: Do you think this will make it easier for me to fly during a lucid dream? I've only had one LD that was very vivid and at one point I did try to fly by jumping and it didn't work to great.
