Dreamed I was a dolphin

In my dream I was in a coastal area. I had the choice to be an alligator or a dolphin. I chose dolphin because I didnt want to be hostile towards the people. I swam around and it seemed like I was human in a dolphin body. It felt so natural. There was a Woman under water ( I am male) I came behind her and put my arms around her, then we started to have sex. I dont believe I was in dolphin form any more but I was underwater anyways. I cant remember what the Woman underwater looked like, but later in the dream I ended up in my room and I was having sex with my ex-gf. She said something about how we have to finish soon because she was needed by her friends. Can anybody relate to any of this?
