Well there you go Im not sure about sleepwalking, but stress is obviously your worst enemy here. Its very hard to relax when all you think about is that big presentation tomorrow (or whatever your job is), but until you can become the master of these thoughts you will have difficulty with success.
Some people also say that keeping a Waking Journal also helped them with recall, though most dont really need it. It may just help you put your long stressful day behind you and keep your thoughts in the present. All you do is write a summary of your daily activities and events. Things you did, persons you saw, places you went, you know, just general stuff. I never tested it, but its worth a try.
