Threshhold between dreams and real life

      Something really interesting just happened.

I don't remember the details well, but I think I'd already gotten up to turn off my alarm, then went back to sleep. Later, I just nearly woke up. I was aware of myself in my bed... but my eyes were closed and I could see myself, wearing different clothes, also in my bed. So here I am, on the barrier between dreams and reality. I tried to move this "dream self" and get a lucid dream, unfortunately I ended up moving my real leg and waking myself up. Has this ever happened to you?

Ya, I was in a lucid dream and I started to notice that I could see the morning light through my eyelids while at the same time being in the dream. then I woke up

if you can rub your dream hands together it will help a lot to forget about your physical body and i would suggest a blindfold so light doesn't wake you up or effect you in any way.

The problem with that, moongrass, is I couldn't distinguish between my real hands and my dream hands. Anyway, that seemed like a random phenomenon, I doubt it'll happen again soon.

I have a strange experience with something like this happening to me.

I was in a lucid dream and aware of my dream body and real body at the same time. I could control both. When I went to test this I ended up waking myself up!
