Dream repeating itself

hey i noticed this 2 nights in a row, and it probably happens more and i was wondering if this happens to others or if anyone knows why it happens. basicly in a dream its like a certian part is rewround, then played over and over before the dream continues. for example i had a converstation, walked into a building, found myself outside and had the same conversation with the same peron before walking inside, and i did this 3 times without noticing.

Yes it happens. I think it is a test, at least for me, to see something about myself. I have some posts in my DJ here detailing this.

Yes. My boyfriend lives far away, and I'm overwhelmingly sad whenever we're finished a visit and have to leave. Last week, I had a dream in which I watched him leave about 5 times in a row, the situation slightly different each time. It's happened in other situations, too. Always, the same thing repeats, but in a slightly different way each time. What's weird is, each time it repeats, I seem to remember the past times, but it never seems strange that the situation is happening again, moments later.

Yes but I think this is the promise of LDs. The most difficult things in the world are dealings with people. LDs can be used to recreate situations beforehand preparing us for tough situations and how we are going to feel after these actions. I have learned a lot from my dreams and these repeating dreams tell me a lot about myself and how I react to things.

thanks for replying, now that i think back on it i think my mind was just kind of finding a way to stall itself while it created new material and story line for the dream. the repeats werent meaninful in any way, more of just random, so it makes sense that my mind was just buying itself some time.

i find this very annoying, its like a sound loop playing over and over the only time i ever have them is when i'm sick with fever maybe its connected somehow?
